Compass Church

Compass Church Welcoming, Inviting, Relaxed, Purposeful. Christ Community Church (AKA Compass Church) began in March 1997.

It began with a group of people who had the idea of starting a church specifically designed for people with little or no church background. They knew God wanted to build a church where the eternal truths of the Bible are presented in a practical and culturally relevant manner, and a church designed for people investigating God and Christianity. A church where:

· The dress is casual.


· The worship service contemporary.
· The messages practical and relevant. You will notice and experience…
· Acceptance, support and love.
· No pressure to give. (We don’t even pass an offering plate!)
· Great programs for your children:

For the children there is:

· A preschool program called CompassKids for children birth to 5 years old. It’s a clean, safe place for the children learn about The Bible in a way that they can understand, and grow in their knowledge of God and His love for them. All the while, enjoying every moment and being cared for by our childcare staff. CompassKids is conveniently located at the back of the sanctuary, with an attached "cry room" for mom and dad to use, as needed. The cry room also allows mom or dad to still hear and see the church service. Children of all ages attend the praise and worship during Sunday morning services before being dismissed to CompassKids. You are welcome to accompany them back to drop them off.

· Our youth, ages 12 - 17, participate in worship services as fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Additionally, on Wednesday evenings, from 6 - 8, they have specialized ministry designed to strengthen their knowledge of Scripture, nurture their love for God, point them toward a personal relationship with Him, facilitate their ministry to one another and to others. Our youth also host lock-ins, movie nights, trips to local attractions, and much more.
