We have a family in our church that needs of groceries and gas money. 4 small children, 1 newborn, & 2 adults. The father is looking for a job as well. Our church family has been able to help a some, but there is still a need. They are awaiting assistance pending completion of their application, but until then we would love to help out. They are not asking for money; only gas & groceries. Let me know if you can help! -pastor Janice

Paul encouraging believers to contribute toward a collection for Christians in need. Meeting the need AND the heart.
Giving should be intentional, prayerful, and a personal decision. This scripture speaks of not giving reluctantly and directly speaks against manipulation.
“Cheerful” means willing and with a glad heart. It’s a sacrifice, but not a measure of your love for God.
You give according to what your have.
It’s not an obligation transaction to make you wealthy. The result is needs being met and thanksgiving being given to God!

Whether your week has been full of joy or you’re carrying something heavy, we’d love to spend Sunday morning with you. Come worship, be encouraged by God’s Word, and meet people who are glad you’re here.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to walk through the doors. Come as you are, bring your family or a friend, and let’s seek God together.
