A message from Vicar Mary:

“My week at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa is winding down. Tomorrow afternoon I will be on the road back to Ohio. It has been a busy time full of chapel, shared meals, catching up with classmates and of course, classes and study. It seems like a good time to express my sincere gratitude to both my St. John and St. Paul families. Your support and encouragment during my seminary journey has been a constant source of hope and strength for me. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for me. I am blessed to work together with you to make the love of Christ known. As Paul wrote to the Ephesians, ‘I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.’ Please pray for me and all seminarians and I will see you on Sunday. Peace, Mary”

The Son flowers are getting so big they had to recruit Chase for comparison.

It is so fun to see these kids in the Son flower patch but even better to know that they worshipped together with their families and with their church family tonight. ❤️

Thanks to Ron for these beautiful gladiolus for the altar today. When we worship in the fellowship hall we are thankful for this cross that came from the Lutheran church in Willowdell. We are honored to be caretakers for something so beautiful and with so much history.
