Receiving messages like this a gift!

When scheduling newsletters, we always pray it touches ONE person each month. Knowing it connects with one reader is enough to keep putting together content! We’d love to hear from you too.

Hello fellow Catholic,
washed by the waters of baptism,
infused with grace,
called into the fold of the family,
bestowed a mission.

We are the laity.

November's newsletter dropped this morning, discussing our role as laity in our Domestic Churches (or sometimes referred to as the Church in Miniature)!

Also, happy All Saints Day to you and your Domestic Church. How will you be celebrating?

Happy Feast day to St. Therese of the Child Jesus 🌹

Do you have a fondness for this beloved Saint? If so, we’d love to hear!

Happy Feast of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus! 😇 🇫🇷 🌹 ✝️ She was born in Lisieux, France in 1873, into a very devout upper-middle-class Catholic family. Her parents, Louis and Zélie Martin, are canonized saints. In her autobiography she describes fighting against her tendency towards selfishness and trying to honor God each day with small sacrifices and small acts of will. She entered a Carmelite cloister at the age of fifteen, and died of tuberculosis at the age of twenty-four, having lived a life of quiet obscurity. However, after the publication of her book, her “little way” became famous the world over. Because of the way that her philosophy of littleness helps to explain the message of the gospel, Pope Saint John Paul II declared her a Doctor of the Church in 1997. Saint Thérèse’s nickname is “the Little Flower” and in art, she is depicted holding a crucifix and roses. On her deathbed, she said, "After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses. I will spend my heaven doing good upon earth. I will raise up a mighty host of little saints. My mission is to make God loved . . ."
