Our last day of travel had us stopping by the Wadi Qelt (Jericho Road) overlook on our way back into Jordan. Once we crossed the border we visited Madaba and Mt. Nebo before heading to our hotel to pack up and get ready for our flight home tomorrow. Its been a fantastic trip and we would appreciate your prayers for our safe travels home!

Our last day in Jerusalem took us down the Mount of Olives (Palm Sunday road) to the Garden of Gethsemane. Then up to the House of Caiaphas and the site of Peter's denial and Jesus' first trial. The day also included the Garden Tomb, the Temple Mount and Western Wall, the Pool of Siloam and the upper room. We've had an awesome two days in Jerusalem!

Our travels today included Bethlehem and the Old City of Jerusalem. We went to the shepherds fields, the Church of the Nativity, the Israel Museum and then went to Jerusalem to the Pool of Bethesda and then followed the Via Delarosa all the way to the Church of the Holy Seplacur (the church built over the traditional crucifixion and tomb sites). It was another enjoyable day and we're looking forward to our last day in Jerusalem tomorrow.

We've made it to Jerusalem! We left the Dead Sea area this morning stopping at Qumran (the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found), Shiloh, Samaria, Jacob's well and Shechem. We'll be here the next couple of days before crossing back into Jordan for our trip home Saturday.

Today was a shorter day as we traveled in the area around the Dead Sea. Our visits included En Gedi with a waterfall near the area of where David hid from King Saul, Masada the mountain fortress that was the site of the last stand of Jewish rebels against the Romans, Arad an ancient city known in the Bible for it's religious syncretism and to a Bedouin village for camel rides and a delicious lunch. We finished our day back at the hotel with a float in the Dead Sea!
