Today, we honor and celebrate fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who lead with love, sacrifice, strength, and faith. Thank you for the many ways you nurture your families, serve your communities, and reflect God's love through your lives.

Today, we join our nation in commemorating Juneteenth, a day that marks the triumph of freedom, resilience, and hope.

As we reflect on the significance of June 19, 1865, we honor the strength and perseverance of those who endured unimaginable hardships while holding fast to the promise of liberty. Their courage continues to inspire us to pursue justice, unity, and love for one another.

At New Life Community Church, we celebrate not only the history of freedom gained, but also the freedom we find through faith, community, and God's unfailing grace.

"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." — John 8:36

May this day remind us of how far we have come, encourage us to continue building bridges of understanding, and inspire us to create a future filled with hope for generations to come.

New Life Community Church is pleased to share an upcoming community resource that may be beneficial to caregivers and helping professionals throughout East Texas.

Minds-N-Renewal Counseling Link, led by Nikkia Giles, LCSW, will present "Caregiver Burnout Series – Part 1: Mental Health Coping Strategies" at New Life Community Church.

This group therapy session is designed for individuals who provide care and support to others, including:

• Family caregivers and spouses
• Guardians and foster parents
• Nurses, EMTs, firefighters, and home health aides
• Sitters and other helping professionals

Participants will explore common challenges associated with caregiver burnout and learn practical coping strategies to support their mental and emotional well-being.
