The Fostering Collective We exist to recruit and shepherd Christ-Centered families in East Texas to help children in foster care.

The church has an important role to play in foster care.

That can look like families opening their homes, churches creating a culture of support, and communities stepping in with practical resources when foster and adoptive families need them most.

We’re grateful for church partners who choose to walk alongside these families through both the joys and the hard seasons.

Family has a way of teaching us that we’re always learning from someone—and someone may be learning from us.

Foster care can create opportunities to see faith lived out, to grow in awareness of our own actions, and to understand the responsibility we have to pour into others.

Foster care and adoption offer a beautiful picture of the Gospel. 🕊️

We are loved, accepted, and adopted into God’s family, not because we earned it, but because of His love for us.

For one family, living that truth meant realizing, “These aren’t just other kids. These are my brothers and sisters.”

That kind of love changes the whole family.

👉 Have you ever wondered if foster care or adoption could be part of your story?

You don’t have to have all the answers—we’d love to help you learn more and discover your next step.

A BIG thank you to Hill Family Chiropractic in Henderson for supporting our mission in such wonderful ways!

We are so grateful for their generosity hosting a pajama drive and donated the proceeds to The Fostering Collective Henderson location. Their kindness helps us continue making a difference in the lives of the families we serve.

We also want to thank them for being our first rotating exhibit sponsor in our Henderson Outdoor Sensory Area. For the month of October foster, kinship and adoptive kiddos are able to work on their motor skills and texture sensitivities while dressing up the scarecrows and themselves!

If your like-minded church, business, or organization would like to create and offer an activity for a month please reach out to Shana 903-646-7230.

We appreciate your partnership, your creativity, and your heart for our community.

A heartfelt thank you to First Baptist Church Pittsburg for welcoming us last Sunday!

Our Area Ministry Specialist, Jenn Tosh, loved the opportunity to share more about the heart and mission of The Fostering Collective and how we are coming alongside foster, adoptive, and kinship families in the community. We know that when the Church and community come together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families who need connection, support, and healing.

We are also so grateful for FBC Pittsburg's partnership in helping advocate for children featured in Heart Gallery East Texas who are waiting for loving, permanent families through adoption.

Thank you, FBC Pittsburg, for being part of that mission and helping bring hope to children right here in East Texas!

Fostering rarely looks exactly how you expect it to.

Every child, every placement, every season is different. And somewhere along the way, God uses it to shape you too.

You learn flexibility. You learn humility. You learn how much you still have to grow.

Foster care isn’t just about opening your home.

Sometimes, it’s about allowing God to refine your heart in the process. ❤️

👉 Could God be calling you to make a difference in the life of a child through foster care or adoption?

We’d love to come alongside you, answer your questions, and help you take the next step.

This past weekend, Christian Brothers Automotive offered FREE oil changes for over 50 of our foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers through their National Service Day. We are so grateful for community partners who see the great work our families are doing and want to support them. Thank you for making a difference and loving your community!

It's our favorite day of the year! National Service Day is our annual, dedicated day of service to our communities, where we come together as a brand to serve those in need of a helping hand. 🫶🏻

Today teams across the country have worked with community partners to provide free oil changes and some other safety repairs to single moms, widows, and other neighbors in need.

It's our small way of giving back to those who make what we do every day possible, while glorifying God the entire way. đźš™

Fostering changes more than the lives of the kids who come into your home.

It shapes the whole family.

It teaches sacrifice, responsibility, compassion, and what it really means to look out for someone else.

Those lessons carry far beyond foster care, shaping how we serve, how we love, and who we become. ❤️

We are so encouraged by the next generation of leaders who have a heart for serving others and standing up for the sanctity of life! ❤️

Our Engagement Director, Jennie Ravanesi, recently had the privilege of speaking with the Students for Life group at The University of Texas at Tyler. What an incredible group of college students who are passionate about protecting life—not only advocating for the unborn, but also recognizing the importance of caring for children and families beyond the womb.

It was such an encouragement to share how each of us can play a role in bringing hope, love, and support to children and families impacted by foster care.

We are grateful for these students and their willingness to put their faith into action, loving and serving others as Jesus calls us to do!

And what a sweet bonus to see our friends from Mentoring Alliance there, too!

Our future is bright when the next generation is living a life following Jesus!

At The Fostering Collective, we are so grateful for churches that intentionally create spaces where foster and adoptive families feel loved, encouraged, supported, and welcomed!

New Beginnings Baptist Church in Longview has an incredible ministry dedicated to walking alongside foster and adoptive families by providing practical resources, meaningful connections, and encouragement for the journey.

We love seeing the Church step up to care for families and reflect the love of Jesus in such tangible ways! Thank you, New Beginnings, for reminding families that they are not walking alone. ❤️

If you're a foster or adoptive family in the Longview area, we encourage you to check out their upcoming event featuring Steven Curtis Chapman! As an adoptive dad himself, Steven brings a special heart for adoption and the families who have answered that call through his music and story.
