The church is not a marketing campaign and it’s more than a brand, it is the very people of God!

In this episode, Pastors Whit George and Blake Zimmerman discuss the first 16 verses of Colossians-Paul's letter to the church in Colossae. In it, Paul thanks God for their faith in Christ, their love for one another, and their hope in Heaven.

It’s not about the strength or the size of your faith, it’s about what you’ve placed your faith in that will get you where you need to go.

Chances are you’ve seen a bumper sticker or a t-shirt that says, “Christ is Lord,” or “Jesus over everything.” This is the foundation of our faith, but it’s easy for it to become an abstract idea—a phrase we say that doesn’t really mean anything. Paul’s letter to the church in Colossae, moves this statement from abstract to concrete.

What does is mean for Christ to be Lord over all things? Your thinking, your home, your work, the church, our culture—all things. This is what separates our faith, what sets you free, and what keeps the faithful, faithful.

New teaching series, Jesus Over Everything, begins this weekend.

Church through their eyes. 🥹🎨

We asked some of the kiddos at our Broken Arrow church to draw a few of the things they see when we gather together on the weekend, and the results are pretty hard to beat.
