TOPIC:UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF FASTING.

TEXT: Matthew 17:21.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
You need reinforcements in prayer, because there are certain oppositions that will not answer to faith and prayer alone.
Such oppositions require your building up a stronger spiritual energy to deal with them.
Jesus emphasized the role of fasting to his disciples in Matthew 17:21.
The purpose of fasting is for the release of power.
It is not to beg God to act, neither is it to impress Him or force Him to grant your request.
Rather, it is a spiritual device that empowers you with the unction needed to deal with the issues facing you.
In Luke 4:14, after Jesus had fasted for forty days, the Bible says: And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
When we are in a fast, we are not begging or struggling with the devil to leave; we are connecting with heaven, for the release of power to send the devil packing from our environment.
That is why during a fast, you must have periods of separation to study and fellowship with the Word of God.
Without Word intake, fasting is dangerous.
It is nothing but a hunger strike which has claimed the lives of some in times past.
Fasting is not a time for outward show of piety but a form of a serious approach to any issue in your life.
A fast is meant for the building up of your spirit-man, so that you can obtain the desired results in the physical.
When Jesus said to His disciples, " _This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting_ ," He meant to say, "You need a higher level of unction to deal with this case than you have now."
So, when you are faced with an opposition that seems not to be yielding to faith and prayer, organize a fast, to help generate a fresh supply of power to deal with it.
What happens when you fast is that your spiritual perception is increased, so that you are able to receive direct instructions and strategies on how to deal with situations.
Fasting, therefore is not a religious exercise, or one of those things we do in Christianity; it is a vital kingdom force which empowers the believer to loose the bands of wickedness, undo heavy burdens and break every yoke(Isaiah 58:6-8).
Receive grace to live a productive and life-changing fasting life in Jesus name.

I PRAY FOR YOU,
Receive grace to have a productive prayer and fasting life-style in Jesus Christ name Amen.

TOPIC: HOW TO KNOW GODLY MAN & WOMAN.

TEXT: Acts 10:2
He was a devout, God-fearing man, as was everyone in his household. He gave generously to the poor and prayed regularly to God.
A godly man/woman must allow Christ to reign and rule over his home.
A Godly man/woman must love God genuinely and also love the things God, he will teach his family members to love God genuinely and the things of God also.
A godly man/woman must make God and the things of God his priority and he will also teach his family to do the same.
A godly man/woman must try to carry every members of family along when it comes to the things of God.
A Godly man/woman must teach himself and his family members the benefit and the gain when you serve God
As a man/woman of the family you must be devoted to God business and must teach all his family members to also be devoted to God business.
Cornelius was a Godly man and also teach his family to be Godly too.
God fearing means that you reverance, honour, Obey, surrender, and live for God alone and you must teach all your family members to do so.
He/She gave generously to the poor, you must teach and encourage your family members to help the poor, orphans and those who are in the household of faith too.
A godly man/woman must teach his family on how to give and support the work of God and people who are in need.
The highest legacy is investing in lives.
The highest investment you can give to your child, is helping him or she to know God, live for God and live a decent life.

TOPIC: THE WEAPON OF PUNISHMENT.

TEXT:2 Corinthians 10:6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
There are a lot of bridges that only OBEDIENCE that can cross, nothing else
OBEDIENCE as one of the prayer boosters.
Obedience is a very effectual weapon in the prayer war, as what we do in prayer is mostly to seek redress from heaven.
You can avenge all disobedience with the weaponry of obedience; you can bring down imaginations and cast down every devil as well (2 Cor. 10:3-5).
This is because if you do whatever He tells you what to do, no devil can undo it.
Walking in obedience to God’s commands puts you in charge, so that you have things as you desire them.
Obedience is your gateway to the realms of answers without prayers.
You can live a hurt-free life with obedience as it endears you to divine favour and renders your enemies helpless.
It commits God to act on your behalf and in your favour.
If you will carefully trace the events of your life, you will notice that when things happen in your life without you praying for them, you would have earlier responded in obedience to a commandment of God.
Obedience naturally disarms the devil without tears.
Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” (John. 2:5) is the secret of a sweatless and effectual prayer life.
The Bible tells us: If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: (Isaiah 1:19).
The good of the land is accessible to all, but available only to the obedient.
It is your obedience that moves heaven into action in your favour and your adversaries are dealt with on your behalf.
You never know how weak the enemy is, until you start walking in absolute obedience. Obedience is so powerful, that it speaks.
If you desire financial open heavens, for instance, you must obey the laws of abundance; otherwise no amount of prayer will ever bring financial blessings your way.
When you are obedient to the demands of the law of abundance, you will no longer need prayer to enjoy it, as your obedience will speak for you.
Even if the DEVIL attempts to stop your harvest, one word of prayer is enough to cast him out, because he must bow to the weapon of your obedience.

I PRAY FOR YOU,
Receive the grace for practical obedience to God's voice in Jesus Christ name Amen.

TOPIC: A PRAYER WITH FAITH.

TEXT: Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
God does not answer our murmuring or complaining but He answers our prayer of faith.
It is the prayer of faith that guarantees an answer from the Lord.
Don’t pray a prayer of doubt but a prayer of faith.
It is only the prayer of faith that brings God attention to your case.
The above scripture will help you pray effectively and also help your prayer life prevail on the altar of prayer.
We should stop crying rather than apply faith to our prayer or our request from God.
Our prayer and asking should not be accompanied by unbelief or doubt.
Learn and cultivate the habit to keep believing God after prayer.
Remember this, our duty is to pray and God's duty is to answer.
Play your part and allow God to play His part.
In conclusion, believe and hold God by His word.
Thank you.

I PRAY FOR YOU,
Receive more strength to pray, in Jesus Christ name Amen.
