When I first returned to Tulsa in July of 2020, I was excited about reconnecting with former friendships and people I known before. I quickly learned that the panademic had spawned such a guarded carefulness in everyone. I initially wanted to take offense by people’s responses, but soon found myself just wanting to quiet myself and hear from God concerning what the world was dealing with with at large. I pressed heavily in a quest to hear God’s voice and soon understood the shifting that was taking place in the unseen realm that was impacting the seen realm.
When I look back on it now, I see the handiwork of God and so many people were removed while others still remained. Whether we admit it or not, God is sovereign and He knows and sees so much further that we can. He knows what and who is necessary and whose course has changed.
I’ve come to a place in life that I trust His sovereignty concerning my life and I no longer resist His will for me and who is to be a part of that journey.
In the end, I just want my journey to end in peace and just to hear Him say, well done. Go with God, cuz He knows best!
