TOPIC: THIS IS NOT THE END OF LIFE

TEXT: “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” Job 14:7 (KJV)

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Luke 22:1-13; Hebrews 4:1-11; Proverbs 21:1-16; Isaiah 14-16

Life often throws unexpected storms our way, losses, setbacks, failures, or disappointments that make it seem like all is over. But the Word of God declares that there is hope for a tree. If a tree that is cut down has the chance to sprout again, how much more you, the son or daughter of the living God?

This is not the end of your story. Your expectation shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). No failure is final when God is on your side. No loss is strong enough to make you doubt or curse God. Like Job, who endured affliction yet came out with double restoration, your trial today may simply be a test of faith or an attack of the enemy, but it will not consume you.

The devil may want you to think that your current situation is permanent, but it is only temporary. Your Father is the Author and Finisher of your faith, and He never leaves a story half-written. Trust Him, He will bring beauty out of ashes, joy out of mourning, and glory out of pain.

GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW THAT

1. There is always hope. God can cause new life to spring out of dead situations.

2. Your expectation will be fulfilled. God honors the faith of those who trust Him.

3. Loss is not the end. Even Job’s great trial ended in restoration.

4. Trials are temporary. The devil’s attacks cannot outlast God’s plans.

5. God writes the last chapter. Your story will end in victory, not defeat.

THINGS TO DO

1. Refuse to accept hopelessness, declare God’s promises over your life.

2. See setbacks as temporary, not final.

3. Strengthen your faith with Scripture daily.

4. Guard your heart against bitterness and cursing God.

5. Keep pressing forward, your breakthrough is ahead.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Father, thank You because You are the God of restoration and hope. No matter what I face, I believe this is not the end. Give me strength to endure trials and faith to trust You until my testimony manifests. me to rise again and bring glory to Your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: NEVER DOUBT THE AUTHENTICITY OF GOD

TEXT: Matthew 11:3 “Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Luke 22:1-13; Hebrews 4:1-11; Proverbs 21:1-16; Isaiah 14-16

Life will bring different seasons, and some may cause us to question what we once believed. John the Baptist knew who Jesus was and preached about Him, but when he found himself in prison, his faith was tested. Never allow a difficult season to make you doubt what you know about God.

Jesus did not deliver John from prison, but He testified that among those born of women, none was greater than John (Matthew 11:11). Sometimes God may not answer us the way we expect. An unanswered prayer does not mean an unfaithful God. Our circumstances can change, but God never changes.

Hebrews 11:13 tells us that some heroes of faith died without receiving everything God had promised, yet they died believing. Therefore, whether the promise comes now or later, keep trusting God. Delay does not make God a liar. What you are going through does not change who God is. He remains faithful.

THINGS TO DO

1. Remember God's past faithfulness.

2. Don't allow circumstances to change what you believe about God.

3. Keep trusting God even when the answer is delayed.

4. Remain faithful regardless of the outcome.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, strengthen my faith to trust You in every situation. Help me not to doubt Your goodness because of delays, disappointments, or unanswered prayers. I declare that You are faithful, Your Word is true, and You never change. Give me grace to remain faithful to You until the end, in Jesus’ name. Amen

TOPIC: ANOINTING FOR UNDERSTANDING

TEXT: (Job 32:8 KJV) But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Luke 21:20-28; Hebrews 2:10-18; Proverbs 20:1-15; Isaiah 9-10

The Spirit of God anoints a believer with understanding. Understanding is one of the most important gifts that God gives to His children through inspiration from Him. In this world, it is only a few people that have this type of understanding. It is very difficult for unbelievers to understand especially the things of God. This is because the things of God are spiritual and only spiritual people who have understanding can decode them.

As a child of God, go for understanding. You need to understand yourself, your assignments here on earth and how to fulfill the purpose for your creation. All these you cannot do without the Holy Ghost. The bible says in Psalms 119:130 (KJV) that the entrance of God's words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple. This means that you may appear simple but there is something that is inside of you. It is called the spirit of wisdom and understanding. This spirit gives you ability to understand mysterious and hard things. You can get meaning from anything that ordinary people overlook.

PROPHETIC DECREE
If you are struggling academically, maritally, financial and business-wise, I decree the spirit of understanding on you now. Receive ideas, revelation, deep insights and knowledge that will take you to your next level in Jesus mighty name Amen.

As a child of God, desire the spirit of understanding if you want to dominate and rule your world. This was the secret of the four Hebrew boy in Babylon. The bible says in Daniel 1:20, "As for every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king consulted them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and conjurers who were in all his realm." They got to this realm by righteousness. They made up their mind never to defile themselves with the portion of the king’s meat. This was not because they didn't like to eat meat. But their utmost desire was to please God. When you come to this realm and put effort into your work, God unleashes the spirit of understanding on you.

Do you know what is ten times better? It means that no one could fit into their shoes. People with charms, voodoo and all were there but couldn't match up with Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Our text says that it is the inspiration of God that gives us understanding. This means that understanding comes from how much of God you know. I pray that you receive this inspiration today in Jesus mighty name Amen

THINGS TO DO

1. Accept Jesus as your LORD and personal saviour. This is the only way you can be a child of God.

2. Make the word of God your daily meal. Study and meditate on it day and night to receive inspirations from God.

3. Avoid sin at all cost. Never defile yourself with a form of immorality.

4. Never spend a day without praise and worship to the living God.

5. Pray in the Holy Ghost for at least 30 minutes daily.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father I thank you for your word today. Father I ask for your inspiration that brings understanding to rest on me now and forever. Let it distinguish me from my contemporaries, O LORD I ask in Jesus name Amen.

TOPIC: THE GLORY THAT DEFENDS

TEXT: “And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.” Isaiah 4:5 (KJV).

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Luke 21:1-19; Hebrews 2:1-9; Proverbs 19:15-29; Isaiah 6-8

Many people today rely on all sorts of things for defense, money, insurance policies, soldiers, security guards, alarms, CCTV, and high-tech gadgets. While these can provide temporary safety, they are never foolproof. They can fail. But there is one defense that never fails: the glory of God.

In the wilderness, Israel experienced this glory tangibly. A cloud covered them by day to protect them from the scorching desert heat, and a flaming fire appeared by night to give them light and warmth. This was not just divine decoration, it was divine defense. The presence of God shielded them from enemies, danger, and destruction.

Isaiah prophesied that upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion (God’s people) and upon her assemblies, God would establish this covering of glory. That means your life, your family, your church, and your dwelling can be wrapped with this supernatural shield.

Beloved, while others put their confidence in earthly systems, you must put your trust in the Lord. He alone is your unfailing defense. The Bible says in Zechariah 2:5, “For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.”

NOTE;

1. God’s Glory Is Your Shield; Human protection fails, but God’s covering never fails.

2. The Glory Guides You; The cloud and fire led Israel step by step.

3. The Glory Preserves Life; The destroyer cannot pe*****te where the glory rests.

4. The Glory Dwells on Zion; It abides with those who belong to God.

THINGS TO DO

1. Depend on God more than on human systems of protection.

2. Cultivate His presence daily through prayer, worship, and obedience.

3. Declare God’s Word as your shield and covering.

4. Teach your household to dwell under God’s shadow.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Father, I put my trust in You as my unfailing defense. Let Your cloud cover me by day and Your fire shine over me by night. Surround my life and family with Your glory. Be my shield and refuge all the days of my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: THE OVERCOMER’S MANDATE

TEXT: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 (KJV)

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Luke 20:27-49; Hebrews 1:1-9; Proverbs 18; Isaiah 1-2

Happy new month! As we enter the month of September, I want you to know that the power of darkness is real but not undefeatable. Satan often disguises himself in fearful appearances, threatening dreams, demonic oppression, or intimidating circumstances to deceive believers into thinking he is almighty. But the truth is that he and his kingdom are already defeated and are under the authority of Jesus Christ.

The Bible declares: “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:10). This means there is no force in the spiritual or physical realm that can withstand the authority of Jesus.

When Christ died, He descended into the grave, stripped Satan of his power, and took the keys of hell and death (Revelation 1:18). Today, every believer shares in this victory. We are not fighting for victory we are fighting from victory already won through the cross.

PROPHETIC DECREE:
I decree that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. You shall tread upon serpents, scorpions, and all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall harm you. Darkness has no power over your life, family, ministry, or destiny in Jesus mighty name Amen!

The devil’s greatest weapon is fear, but your greatest weapon is faith in the name of Jesus. When you stand boldly in that name, you can cast out demons, silence afflictions, and destroy every work of darkness.

HOW TO OVERCOME THE POWER OF DARKNESS

1. Stand on the Word of God: The Word is your sword (Ephesians 6:17).

2. Use the Name of Jesus Boldly: Command darkness to flee in His name.

3. Live a Holy Life: Sin gives Satan a foothold; holiness keeps you untouchable.

4. Pray with Authority: Declare God’s promises, not your fears.

5. Walk in Faith, Not Fear; Fear empowers the devil; faith enforces his defeat.

THINGS TO DO

1. Refuse to entertain fear when the devil tries to intimidate you.

2. Declare Scriptures daily that affirm Christ’s victory over darkness.

3. Apply the blood of Jesus over your life, family, and environment.

4. Pray in tongues to stir spiritual authority.

5. Exercise your authority in Christ regularly, not only when attacked.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Father, thank You for the authority You have given me in Christ Jesus. Today, I declare victory over every power of darkness. By the blood of Jesus and the power of His name, I silence every attack of the enemy. Let Your light shine in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: WHEN THE ANSWER HAS BEEN RELEASED BUT THERE IS RESISTANCE

TEXT: “Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard…” Daniel 10:12 (KJV)

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Reflection

QUESTION FOR TODAY:
Have you ever experienced a season when God eventually answered after a long period of waiting? Your testimony may encourage someone who is still waiting

Sometimes heaven has already responded, but the answer has not yet become visible. Don’t stop praying because you haven’t seen it yet.

Daniel prayed and waited for twenty-one days. From his perspective, it might have appeared that nothing was happening. Yet when the angel finally arrived, Daniel discovered something remarkable: God had heard him from the first day. The delay was not because heaven was deaf to his prayer. Daniel 10:13 describes spiritual resistance that occurred before the messenger reached him.

There are seasons when we pray, believe, obey God, and still do not immediately see what we are expecting. During such times, silence can tempt us to conclude that God has forgotten us. But what you cannot see does not tell you everything God is doing. The answer may involve God's timing, preparation, circumstances being aligned, or battles you cannot see. Therefore, we should not interpret every delay as denial.

Daniel teaches us another important lesson: he remained before God. He did not allow the absence of immediate evidence to terminate his pursuit. Likewise, when you are standing on something God has genuinely promised, continue in prayer, faith, obedience, and patience. Do not allow discouragement to make you abandon your position.

However, persistence is not an attempt to force God to give us everything we desire. Our confidence must rest in God's Word and His will, not merely in our wishes. Faith says, “Lord, I trust what You have said, I trust Your wisdom, and I will remain faithful until Your purpose is accomplished.”

DON’T GIVE UP TOO EARLY
Imagine if Daniel had concluded on day ten that God was not listening. He did not know what was happening beyond what his eyes could see. Your waiting season is not necessarily a wasted season.

The door may not have opened yet.
The situation may not have changed yet.
The breakthrough may not be visible yet. But “not yet” does not always mean “never.”

THINGS TO DO

1. Continue praying about what God has placed on your heart.

2. Ask God for discernment concerning anything requiring your obedience or action.

3. Reject discouragement and strengthen yourself with God's Word.

4. Thank God for hearing you even before you see the outcome.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, thank You because You hear me when I call upon You. Strengthen my faith, order my steps, and keep me obedient throughout the waiting season. May every blessing and answer You have appointed for me come into visible manifestation at Your appointed time in Jesus mighty name.

PERSONAL DECLARATION
I declare that discouragement will not defeat me, delay will not destroy my faith, and circumstances will not silence my prayers. I will wait, I will believe, I will obey, and I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

SCRIPTURE: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR

FAITH QUESTION:
What promise of God are you standing on in this season?

What God has released in the spiritual realm will manifest in your life at the appointed time in Jesus mighty name Amen.

There are times when God has answered, yet we have not seen the physical evidence of the answer. A delay in manifestation does not necessarily mean that God has denied your request. Daniel prayed, and God sent the answer from the first day, but there was resistance before the answer reached him (Daniel 10:12–13). Heaven had responded even though Daniel had not yet seen the result.

Between God’s promise and its manifestation, there may be a season of waiting, preparation, spiritual resistance, or divine timing. Abraham received the promise of a son long before Isaac appeared. Joseph received dreams of greatness years before he entered the palace. David was anointed king while Saul was still sitting on the throne. God can release a word over your life before you see its visible fulfillment.

Therefore, do not abandon what God has genuinely promised simply because you cannot see it yet. Continue in faith, obedience, prayer, and patience. Do not manufacture an outcome or try to force God's hand. Your responsibility is to remain faithful; God is responsible for bringing His Word to pass in His appointed way and time.

THINGS TO DO

1. Remember a promise from Scripture you are trusting God for and pray over it.

2. Refuse to allow present circumstances to become greater than God’s Word in your heart.

3. Remain obedient while you wait, don't allow impatience to push you outside God's will.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, I thank You because Your Word never returns to You void. Every blessing, promise, opportunity, breakthrough, and answer that You have ordained for my life, let it manifest according to Your perfect will and timing in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: EXEMPTED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS

TEXT: (Genesis 6:7-8 KJV) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Reflection

Today, I declare the Word of the Lord upon you and your household: where human blood is being shed, you and your family shall be exempted. You will not be victims of other people’s wickedness. The grace of God that brings exemption is released upon you now in Jesus’ name.

Exemption means being spared, shielded, or made immune from something. It means that when others are being attacked, afflicted, or destroyed, you remain untouched. Disaster may strike around you, but it will not happen near you. This is what God, by His grace, is releasing to someone today!

PROPHETIC DECREE
I decree that from today you and your household shall be exempted from calamity, tragedy, and every evil work, in the mighty name of Jesus!

Our text today reveals that “Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD” (Genesis 6:8). This grace brought exemption—not only for Noah but for his entire family. His world was wiped out by the flood, yet Noah’s household was preserved. By grace, Noah and his family became the seed through which God restarted humanity, just as Adam and Eve were in the beginning. Without this grace, the world as we know it would have ended

But what made Noah qualify for this grace? When his generation was immersed in wickedness and immorality, he and his household chose to serve God. Imagine the pressure of being the only righteous family in a corrupt world! His friends, associates, and even extended family walked in sin, yet Noah remained steadfast. For 150 years he kept warning them of God’s judgment, even without a church, fellowship group, or accountability partner. Despite the odds, he stood firm, and God exempted him.

The question for you today is: What will God see in your life that qualifies you for His grace of exemption? If God spares your life, what will He and humanity gain from you?

KEYS TO ATTRACT GRACE FOR EXEMPTION

1. Accept Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior. If you are already saved, renew your dedication to Him.

2. Serve God genuinely from the heart, not for eye-service or human praise.

3. Make daily demands for the grace of exemption over your life and family. Speak it, pray it, and believe it.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, thank You for Your Word today. I ask for the grace of exemption from evil and calamities. Single me out for Your mercy, favor, and lifting, O Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: DANGERS OF IGNORING SPIRITUAL WARNING

TEXT: “And God’s anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him…” Numbers 22:22 (KJV)

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Reflection

God is a loving Father, and one way He shows His love is by warning us before destruction comes. These warning signals can come through His Word, the Holy Spirit, dreams, godly counsel, or even everyday circumstances. Ignoring them can lead to painful consequences.

Balaam is a classic example. Though God told him not to go with Balak’s messengers, he insisted. On the way, his donkey saw an angel with a sword drawn, but Balaam was blind to it. God’s warning was clear, but Balaam’s stubbornness nearly cost him his life (Numbers 22:21–34).

Throughout Scripture, we see the danger of ignoring divine warning signs:

1. Dinah, Jacob’s daughter, ignored caution, wandered into dangerous company, and was r***d (Genesis 34:1–2).

2. Uzzah put his hand on the ark despite clear instruction, and was struck dead instantly (2 Samuel 6:6–7).

3. Gehazi, Elisha’s servant, ignored his master’s instruction, pursued greed, and brought leprosy upon himself and his descendants (2 Kings 5:27).

Even today, God warns us in different ways. He may caution you about:

* The friends you keep.

* The places you go.

* The relationships you nurture.

* The amount of food you eat.

* The time you waste in sleep.

* The neglect of prayer and the Word.

When God warns, it is not to restrict you, but to protect your destiny. If you refuse to obey, you may suffer avoidable consequences.

HOW TO RESPOND TO GOD’S ’s WARNINGS

i. Be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Pay attention to His nudging.

ii. Test every counsel with the Word. God’s warnings align with Scripture.

iii. Act immediately because delayed obedience is disobedience.

iv. Stay humble. Pride makes people ignore correction.

v. Pray for discernment, not every open door is from God.

THINGS TO DO

1. Examine your life daily: what is God warning me to change?

2. Cut off relationships or habits that the Spirit convicts you about.

3. Ask God to heighten your spiritual sensitivity.

4. Share your experiences with others to help them avoid mistakes.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Lord, thank You for being a Father who warns before judgment. Give me a sensitive spirit to recognize Your cautions and a humble heart to obey immediately. Deliver me from stubbornness, pride, and carelessness. Let me always walk in the path of life and safety. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

TOPIC: THERE ARE COMPETING VOICES

TEXT: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Revelation 2:29 (KJV)

FINISH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Reflection

The Holy Spirit speaks daily with believers but there are many voices that compete for our attention. These inlude the voice of our own thoughts, family and friends, society, social media, movies, influencers, fear, doubt, and sometimes voices that directly oppose the truth of God.

The voice you consistently listen to will eventually influence the life you live. What we hear, together with what we continually see, shapes our thoughts; our thoughts influence our attitudes; our attitudes affect our actions; and our actions produce outcomes. This is why Jesus repeatedly said, “He that hath an ear, let him hear.” We must be intentional about what we permit to enter our hearts. Not every voice deserves access to your spirit.

As believers, God's Word must become the standard by which every other voice is judged. Romans 10:17 says, “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Listening to God's Word builds faith, gives wisdom, corrects our thinking, and teaches us how to live a holy and victorious life.

On the other hand, continually listening to gossip, negativity, fear, ungodly entertainment, deceptive teaching, and destructive messages can gradually change our thinking. People can become bitter, suspicious, fearful, hostile, or immoral because of what they repeatedly allow into their minds. Therefore, measure what you hear by the Word of God and view what you see through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We live in a generation where competing voices have unprecedented access to us through smartphones, movies, social media, influencers, podcasts, and even false or deceptive preachers. A message can sound attractive, popular, spiritual, or convincing and still be contrary to God's truth. First John 4:1 warns us, “Believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.” Do not allow popularity to replace discernment.

Ask: Does this agree with Scripture? Does it draw me closer to Christ? Does it produce holiness, love, faith, wisdom, and obedience to God? In the midst of all the competing voices, train your ears to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit. Turn down the noise of the world so that the voice of God can become clearer in your life.

THINGS TO DO

1. Guard what you hear and watch. Be intentional about the content you continually expose yourself to.

2. Spend time daily in God's Word. The more familiar you are with truth, the easier it becomes to recognize deception.

3. Test every voice with Scripture. Do not accept something simply because a preacher, influencer, friend, or popular person said it.

4. Avoid gossip and persistent negativity. Do not give destructive conversations permission to shape your heart.

5. Listen for the Holy Spirit. Create quiet moments for prayer, Scripture, and reflection so that God's voice is not drowned out by competing voices.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, thank you for your word today. I ask that You give me ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying. Help me to recognize and reject every voice that contradicts Your Word. Help me to follow Your voice above every competing voice, in Jesus' name. Amen.
