The service celebrating the wonderful life of Barbara Thompson will be at 4:00 on Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Immediately following the service we will host a finger food meal for the family.

Above all keep this family in your prayers. Barbara was an amazing member of an amazing family and she will be missed by so many! We are blessed to have witnessed the lasting legacy of Archie and Barbara Thompson that has filled the lives of so many with love for generations to come.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Here is a look at our activities for the week!

We are excited to announce that we are rebooting our bell choir and women's meetings this Wednesday. Everyone is welcome to join, even if you’ve never participated before!

Our food pantry remains open during regular office hours, and we will be hosting our drive-thru pantry today, September 1st. We hope to see you there!

Please note that we will have adjusted office hours this Wednesday, and the church office will be closed on Monday, September 7th. We look forward to seeing you!

Save the date! Join us at Troy UMC on October 24th for our Annual Fall Festival. We will have an indoor garage sale, bake sale, silent and live auction, kids' activities, a quilt raffle, and plenty of delicious food! With school back in session, let’s get back into a routine! We hope our church can be a part of that for you and your family! We’re celebrating with a day of fun this Sunday from 3:00–5:00 PM in the gym. Join us for family-friendly kickball, snacks, games, and fellowship. Everyone is welcome; even if you aren’t ready for Sunday morning worship, come by and let us show you what Troy UMC is all about!
