In 2011, Craig Lewis was dying. Doctors removed his failing heart and connected him to an experimental continuous-flow device that circulated his blood without producing a heartbeat or a pulse. Within 48 hours, he was sitting up, talking, and using his laptop. When doctors put a stethoscope to his chest, there was no heartbeat and no pulse. All they heard was the steady whir of the machine. Listen, sometimes the absence of a pulse doesn’t mean the absence of life. There will be seasons when you can’t feel God nor detect any spiritual movement. But don’t pronounce dead what God is still sustaining. Faith says, “I may not feel a pulse, but there’s still life in me!” '"We walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Cor 5:7)

Repost and spot on!

I used to wonder why I cried every time I worshipped.

Nothing was wrong.
I wasn’t sad.
Sometimes I’d walk into church completely fine, the music would start, and suddenly tears were streaming down my face.

I thought, Why am I so emotional? 😭
But the closer I’ve gotten to God, the more I understand…

Sometimes your soul recognizes His presence before your mind can even put words to what you’re feeling.

Those tears aren’t always sadness.

Sometimes they’re surrender.
Sometimes they’re relief.
Sometimes they’re healing.
Sometimes they’re gratitude.
Sometimes it’s the weight you’ve been carrying finally falling at His feet.

There are moments during worship when I don’t even have a prayer.
I just cry.

Because when you’ve been through seasons where God was the ONLY reason you made it through, worship hits differently.

So if you’re the person crying during worship while everyone else seems perfectly fine…
Let the tears fall.
You don’t have to explain what happens in your heart when you’re in the presence of the One who knows every part of it. 🤍

Good morning! Just a reminder we will be in fellowship with Dr Reese and his church family this morning.

If we treated worship, service, and fellowship with God the way we want God to treat our prayer requests the churches would be full every Sunday!
