📖 K-5 THIS WEEK: The Fight of Gideon & the Flight of the Midianites
Judges 6–7

💡 Big Truth: God strengthens those who know their weakness.

📌 Memory Verse:
“But when the people of Israel cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for the people of Israel, who saved them.” — Judges 3:9

✝️ Gospel Connection:
The book of Judges reminds us that we need a King. When we try to do what’s right in our own eyes, things go wrong. But God promised a King who would save and lead His people. That King is Jesus! Jesus changes our hearts and makes us new so we can live for God.

When is a time you felt weak or needed help? How can we trust God to give us strength?

Instead, He stayed on that cross willingly. He looked down from there and saw those who would place their trust in Him, and found satisfaction!

There’s something incredibly special about hearing young voices lifted in worship.

Yesterday, our Youth Choir reminded us that worship isn’t about age—it’s about a willing heart. Their voices, their joy, and their courage to stand in front of the church and praise God were such a beautiful gift to our congregation.

We pray that these young people always know how deeply they are loved, how greatly they are valued, and how beautifully God can use their lives for His purpose.

Thank you, Youth Choir, for leading us in worship and reminding all of us that our faith is meant to be lived out, shared, and passed on to the next generation.

💜 Renewal Kids Recap: The Walls Came Tumbling Down

Yesterday, our K–5 kids learned about the walls of Jericho and a powerful reminder: God fights for those who trust in Him.

Jericho’s walls looked impossible to overcome, but God had a plan. And through Rahab’s story, we also learned that God’s salvation isn’t just for some people—it’s for anyone who believes His promises and trusts in Jesus. 🙌

Rahab wasn’t an Israelite, but she heard about God, believed He would keep His promises, and trusted Him to save her. God not only rescued Rahab—He gave her a place in the family line of Jesus!

📖 Our Memory Verse:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
— Joshua 1:9

💬 Talk about it at home:
Ask your kids what they remember about the walls of Jericho and Rahab. What are some things that feel impossible or scary sometimes? How can we remember that God is with us and that we can trust Him?

And the best news? Because of Jesus, we already have the ultimate victory. Sin is forgiven, death is defeated, and Satan is crushed. ❤️
