"Lots of people try to explain the miracles of Jesus,
particularly this one.
I think because this one is such a uniquely … ordinary miracle.
It’s not a sudden healing of a skin disease,
or being able to walk after years of being confined to a mat.
It’s not a raising anyone from the dead.

This catering miracle is more than just everyone being fed,
everyone being welcome and included at the table.
The miracle is also a call to feed.
When they left,
hearts and stomachs full,
that wasn’t the end.
They were sent to feed their neighbors."
