Located on 23rd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, this church was established over 175 years ago. Our worship service is on Sundays at 9 a.m., with interactive Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. for children ages three and up. Special adult Bible study classes are held throughout the year as well. We are a loving, caring, and fun church family who strives to reach out to others and help them in
whatever ways we are able. Three times during the year, we hold church suppers which are open to the public: Corned Beef in February, Roast Beef in April, and Ham in October or November. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who meet at our church usually help out at these events. NEW IN APRIL 2013: We are now offering a free community meal every Friday night from 5-7 p.m., compliments of Matthew 25 Ministries. All are welcome ~ no strings attached. We have a large hall and fully-equipped kitchen that can be used for banquets, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties or whatever event you may have. Within the hall is a good-sized stage where plays and concerts take place on occasion. These rooms are available free of charge for members or for a donation from non-members. Come and see for yourself...we'd love to meet you!
