Assalāmu ‘Alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,

Following the confirmed moon sighting for Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH, Masjid Al-Arqam announces that:

🕋 Eid al-Adha will be observed on
📅 Wednesday, May 27, 2026

The days of Qurbani will be from Wednesday, May 27 through Friday, May 29, inshā’Allāh.

🕌 Eid Salah times and additional details will be posted soon.

We ask Allah ﷻ to accept the Hajj of the hujjāj, our qurbānī, our du‘ās, and all righteous deeds during these blessed days.

‎اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ العَهْدِ مِنْ صِيَامِنَا إِيَّاهُ، فَإِنْ جَعَلْتَهُ فَاجْعَلْنِي مَرْحُومًا وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي مَحْرُومًا. الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى التَّمَامِ، الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى البَلَاغِ، الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى الصِّيَامِ وَالقِيَامِ. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ صَامَ الشَّهْرَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا وَأَدْرَكَ لَيْلَةَ القَدْرِ وَفَازَ بِالأَجْرِ.

O Allah, do not make this the last time we fast this [month]; but if You have decreed it to be so,
then make me one who has received Your mercy, and do not make me one who is deprived [of it].Praise be to Allah for the completion [of Ramadan].Praise be to Allah for reaching [the end of the month].Praise be to Allah for the fasting and the standing in prayer.
O Allah, make us among those who fasted the month with faith and in hope of reward, and who reached the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) and won the [divine] reward 🤲.

‎تقبل الله طاعتكم وكل عام وأنتم بخير

Greetings Maal Hijrah 1447H | First Muharram 2025. 🌙

Maal Hijrah (also known as Awal Muharram) is the celebration of the new year in the Islamic calendar (Hijrah). It commemorates the important event of the migration of Prophet Muhammad SAW from Mecca to Madinah.

“Maal Hijrah” comes from the Arabic word: “مَعَ الهِجْرَة” – meaning “together hijrah. ”

Migration is not just a transfer of place, but also a change of heart, intention and deeds towards Divine acceptance.
