This week, Mission Counselor Nathan Strutz spent some time with Pastor Bitter learning more about Peace, its vision and ministry, and where he can support our efforts to share God’s word in Trinity. Pastor Strutz supports mission churches from Colorado to Florida, and his experience starting missions in Wisconsin and North Carolina drives his mission mindset.

One of the blessings that God showers on our mission is hearing Christians confess their faith with us. The last two weeks, Julian, Ashley, Pam and John have expressed their faith in Christ and are joining our church’s mission to share the message of forgiveness of sins with our community!

God has a history of doing extraordinary things through ordinary people and basic supplies. Our God has compassion on his people and power over all things. Even better? The same Lord that fed thousands still provides for you today.

At the Feeding of the Five Thousand, Jesus didn’t ask the disciples to create more bread. He asked them to bring what was there. Jesus took what was brought to him, a boy’s small lunch, and fed a multitude.

This is our God whose provisions are greater than our expectations, and is the same God who continues to provide for you daily.
