The crucial reminder that our obedience should come from our love for Christ, not fear of the consequences.
Fear grows in the delay and sometimes the delay is because of our lack of obedience!

The purpose of this class is to study the Word of God in order to apply it to our daily lives with the intent being to impact our society and family through an increase of faith and boldness needed to meet today's challenges. This Sunday we will have a guest speaker, Timothy Laker, teach the class. and he will be presenting on the topic of "Psalm 34". Please come out and show him your support.

Not everyone will like you, and that's okay. Even Jesus faced rejection. Do your best, examine yourself if needed, but don't lose sleep over someone's disapproval. Sometimes it's not about you—and that's perfectly fine.

Struggling with people-pleasing? You're not alone. But here's the truth: you can't control whether someone likes you. What you can control is your response. Do right, examine yourself, and let it go.

30 compliments vs. 1 criticism—which one keeps you up at night? If it's the criticism, it's time to break free from people-pleasing. Even Jesus wasn't liked by everyone. Neither do you have to be.

That word 'THEN' changes everything. God's promises aren't automatic—they come with conditions. You can't claim provision while being lazy, health while eating junk, or blessing while ignoring obedience. It's not name it and claim it—it's do it His way, THEN watch God work.

Stop claiming promises you're not living out. God told Joshua: obey Me, THEN you'll prosper. That 'THEN' matters. You can't declare financial blessing while doing mediocre work, claim health while destroying your body, or expect God's provision while being lazy. Obedience isn't optional—it's the pathway to blessing.

The gap between what you're believing for and how you're actually living is real. God's promises have conditions attached. You want provision? Work with excellence. You want health? Take care of your body. You want success? Obey God's way. It's not complicated—it's conditional.
