Congratulations to Our First Communicants

Our parish joyfully congratulates all the children who received their First Holy Communion on May 3, 2026. We thank God for this special day as they welcomed Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time.

May their hearts always remain close to Christ, and may their love for the Eucharist continue to grow throughout their lives. We also thank their parents, families, and catechists for helping prepare them for this beautiful sacrament.

Please keep our First Communicants in your prayers as they continue their journey of faith.

Congratulations and God bless you!

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity in 2026 is celebrated on Sunday, May 31, 2026. This significant Catholic feast day falls on the first Sunday after Pentecost, commemorating the doctrine of one God existing as three coeternal, consubstantial divine persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These "three persons" are said to be distinct, yet they share one essence, one substance and one nature.

Come join us in this celebration at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 4843 Mile Stretch Dr. Holiday, Fl. 34690.

Ministry Appreciation Dinner 2026.

We gathered with grateful hearts to say thank you. Thank you for your generous “yes” to God, for your time, your sacrifices, and your quiet acts of love that often go unseen—but never unnoticed by the Lord.

Each ministry in our parish is a living reflection of Christ’s presence. Whether you serve at the altar, teach the faith, visit the sick, welcome the stranger, or care for those in need—you are the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Because of you, our parish is not just a place we come to, but a family we belong to.

We are especially reminded that love is not just spoken—it is lived. And you live it every day.

The celebration of the Easter Vigil stands as the most sacred and beautiful liturgy in the life of the Catholic Church. Held in the stillness of the night, it begins in darkness and gradually unfolds into radiant light—symbolizing Christ’s triumph over sin and death. The blessing of the new fire, the lighting of the Paschal candle, and the proclamation of the Exsultet invite the faithful into a profound experience of hope and renewal.

At the heart of the Vigil is the journey through salvation history, as Scripture recounts God’s enduring love for His people. This culminates in the joyful proclamation of the Resurrection: Christ is risen! Alleluia!

A particularly moving moment in the Easter Vigil is the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation. With great joy, we give thanks to God for those who have just received full communion with the Church. Through Baptism, Confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist, they are fully united with Christ and His Body. Their “yes” to faith is a powerful witness, reminding us all of the beauty of God’s grace and the call to live as Easter people.

As a community, we rejoice and offer heartfelt gratitude to God for these new members. May their lives be filled with the light of Christ, and may their faith inspire us to renew our own commitment to walk in His ways.

at St. Vincent de Paul 4843 Mile Stretch Dr. Holiday, Fl. 34690.

The Sacrament of Confession is a beautiful encounter with God’s mercy.
Through this sacrament, our sins are forgiven, our relationship with God is restored, and the burden of guilt is lifted.
Confession brings peace to the heart, strengthens us against temptation, and gives us a fresh start.
The blessings are real: healing, freedom, clarity of conscience, and renewed joy. God never tires of forgiving us when we come to Him with sincere hearts.
We warmly invite you to our Parish Penance Service on March 26 at 5:00 p.m. Come and experience the grace, peace, and renewal that God desires to give you.
