A Joyful Evening of Fellowship and Gratitude

# # # A Joyful Celebration of St. Vincent de Paul and Fellowship

Our parish family joyfully celebrated the **Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, our parish patron**, with a beautiful weekend of prayer, fellowship, and gratitude. The celebration continued with our International Potluck and Farewell for **Fr. Joselito “Fr. Lito” Hitosis, SSS**, bringing parishioners from many cultures together as one family in Christ. Through shared food, laughter, stories, and friendship, we experienced the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul—faith expressed through love, generosity, and service.

With grateful hearts, we also thanked Fr. Lito for his three years of faithful service to St. Vincent de Paul Parish and the Diocese of Saint Petersburg. As he returns to the Philippines Province of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament for his new assignment, we send him with our prayers, love, and deepest gratitude. **Thank you, Fr. Lito, for being part of our parish family. You will be greatly missed and always remembered in our prayers!**

Last Saturday, we had another wonderful **Hot August Nights** featuring the fun and lively sounds of **Country Music**! We were blessed with a great turnout and a joyful evening filled with music, laughter, friendship, and plenty of dancing.

A special thank you to **Mikaya** for her excellent dance instruction, helping everyone learn the steps and enjoy the dance floor together. Whether experienced dancers or beginners, everyone had a great time!

Thank you to all who came and made the evening such a wonderful success. It was truly a night of fun, fellowship, and community. We look forward to many more joyful celebrations together!

Our parish family extends our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. William Fickel, SSS, as we celebrate his years of faithful service from 2018–2026.

As the founding father of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at our parish, Fr. Bill's vision and compassion inspired the creation of a ministry dedicated to serving Christ in the poor and those most in need. Through his leadership, the Society has become a living witness to the Gospel, bringing hope, dignity, and practical assistance to countless individuals and families.

Thank you, Fr. Bill, for your generous heart, your unwavering faith, and your commitment to living the mission of St. Vincent de Paul. Your legacy of charity and service will continue to inspire our Vincentians for years to come.
