We had a fun kids and youth game night! Our young adults hosted & we got to eat some great food. Thanks to all who helped to set up, grill, clean up, but most importantly invest in students! We looked at Colossians 3:17, “And whatever your do, whether in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.’
Everyone building relationships & encouraging each other definitely fall under that “whatever we do” part of the verse.

We were so glad to be able to celebrate this couple, Emma and Parker as they are approaching their wedding date!!

Arrangements for Robbie Sammons’s stepmom, Mrs. Carolyn Brown, will be held Sunday, August 16, at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield, TN.
The visitation is from 12 to 3 pm. The funeral will follow at 3 pm, with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Trenton, TN.
The church family of Eldad Baptist extends our deepest sympathies to all the family members of Mrs. Brown.

Please join us Sunday, August 16. Eddie Hill will be in concert during our morning worship beginning at 11 AM. We welcome you to join us.
*Our worship service time is 11 AM on Sundays.
Small group Bible study, where we have classes for all ages, is just before that, at 10 AM. We’d love you have you join us then, as well.
Sunday evening at 5 PM, we will have our regularly scheduled Bible study led by our pastor, Jonathan Criswell. It is a relaxed time in the sanctuary where all ages gather. We study the scriptures in a verse-by-verse format, with lots of time for questions and answers, and we would be thrilled for you to come and experience that deeper discussion!

On August 23, we’ll be hosting a bridal shower for Emma Scarbrough and her fiancé, Parker Crandall, in our fellowship hall.
It will be from 2:00 - 3:30 pm, come and go. You are invited to come and celebrate with this couple who will be married in September.
