Join us each day this week as we share what we learned at Vacation Bible School! This year's theme is Tropical Trek: Jesus Comes to Seek and Save.

VBS: Day 2 (Ruth & Naomi -- Ruth 1:1-18)
Today, we learned that God finds us when we are lonely.

When we find ourselves in a lonely place, we can remember that God promises to be with us. Naomi and Ruth felt lonely when their husbands died. God found them in their loneliness and gave them a new family. There are times when we also feel lonely. What a comfort it is that we are never alone. God is always with us, loving us and caring for us. He invites us into His family through Jesus.

Memory Verse: "Fear not, for I am with you." -- Isaiah 41:10

Join us each day this week as we share what we learned at Vacation Bible School! This year's theme is Tropical Trek: Jesus Comes to Seek and Save.

VBS: Day 1 (Baby Moses -- Exodus 1:8-14, 22; 2:1-10)
Today, we learned that God finds us when we have troubles.

God knows our troubles, and He cares. He helps and saves us. God saw the troubles of His people in Egypt. He saved Moses’ life and delivered His people from their troubles. God finds us in our troubles, too. He sees our struggles, and He cares. He helps us and saves us from our greatest troubles through Jesus.

Memory Verse: "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you." -- Psalm 50:15

Join us for worship at Christ today on the Third Sunday after Pentecost. Worship services are at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Sunday School classes for both children and adults meet at 9:15 AM.

Our 8 AM service will live-stream on Facebook and our website. (And if you're not an early riser, the recorded service will be available to watch shortly after its conclusion.) The worship bulletin is also available to download through our website (christlcms.org/watch-worship-services).

Volunteers needed to set up for VBS! Join us after worship (around 11:45 AM) TOMORROW (Sunday, June 14).

We’ll have a light lunch, and then we can get our decorations and signage for VBS ready to go for the next day. As they say, “Many hands make light work!”

Last weekend, we held our first B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Craft) event here at church. These ladies enjoyed an afternoon of quilting, cross stitching, crocheting, and card making together.

We had so much fun that we're going to offer it again in July! Ladies are invited to join us on Saturday, July 11 from 1 to 4 PM in the church basement. And as the title implies, bring your own craft!

Have you started our Summer Bible Reading Challenge yet? ✝📖

Join us as we read the Bible for all of June and July! This reading challenge gives you two different passages to choose from each day. Read one of them in June, and then go back and read the other one for July. Track your progress on your reading calendar (available in the coffee lobby and on our website - christlcms.org), and bring back your completion slip in August for a prize!

Ladies at Christ! You have two chances to join us for LWML today!

Our monthly business meeting and Bible study will be at 2 PM in the church basement. Participants can expect a discussion topic and/or speaker, updates from LWML officers, and (of course) fellowship and refreshments.

Then join us this evening at 7 PM for some gardening! We hope to take advantage of the late sunset and cooler evening temperatures, and care for our flower beds here at church. We’ll plant some flowers, pull some weeds, and enjoy some time digging in the dirt. Bring gloves/tools if you like, but not required. Daughters, granddaughters, and young ladies are invited to join us for this project.
