Good morning! Join us for worship at Christ today on the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost. Worship services are at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Sunday School classes for both children and adults meet at 9:15 AM.

Our 8 AM service will live-stream on Facebook and our website. (And if you're not an early riser, the recorded service will be available to watch shortly after its conclusion.) The worship bulletin is also available to download through our website (christlcms.org/watch-worship-services).

September is Missions Month! Join us each week as we spotlight one of the global or local missions that we support here at Christ.

Chelsea Irwin serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in the Eurasia region as missionary coordinator for volunteer opportunities. Based out of Český Těšín, Czech Republic, she works with LCMS missionaries and local church partners to place and send volunteers to serve in Eurasia. These individuals or groups engage in projects such as English Bible Camps, theological education and mission education, to name a few. Chelsea seeks to challenge volunteers to live out the Great Commission by viewing each day as a mission trip. She encourages them to support and stay connected to the Eurasia region, as well as serving in their own churches and communities.

Please keep Chelsea Irwin and missionaries around the world in your prayers.

Lifelight Bible Study with Pastor Hjulberg begins next week! If you are interested in this study, please make sure you pick up the materials from him prior to the beginning of class.

LifeLight is a 9-week Bible class that provides in-depth studies of books of the Bible.
It blends personal study throughout the week with gathering with the class once a week for discussion. Starting September 8 and 9, classes will be held Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM *AND* repeated Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM. This fall we will start with Genesis: Part 1.

Tonight, our Midweek Family of Faith Night resumes!

Join us for a free fellowship meal at 5:15 PM. Amanda is making chicken wraps, which are always a hit! (If you can't make it right away at that time, just let us know -- we will happily save you a plate.) After dinner, we have Bible classes for all ages at 6 PM.

Choir doesn't meet tonight, but will start up next Wednesday (9/9) at 7 PM.
