Calvin United Church of Christ We are located in the Birmingham ethnic Hungarian neighborhood of East Toledo. Sunday Worship in-person inside the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday.

or on-line via Zoom at 10:30 a.m. Adult Sunday School during the school year at 9:00 a.m. in-person and zoom each Sunday
Holy Week:
Maundy Thursday (Holy Communion) and Good Friday services at 7 pm
Easter services at 10:30 am (Holy Communion), Christmas Eve Service on 12/24 at 4 p.m.

Lots of Hunky Turkey served at the Calvin lot and people were gladly waiting in line! Thank you all for the volunteer crew who made the "sutni szalonna" possible!

Last evening, a pillar of our church made her final transition into the everlasting arms of her loving God. Elizabeth (Bözsi) Renz died peacefully under the care of hospice in the home of her granddaughter, Jasmin. She will be missed so much by so many. Her obituary will be posted here as soon as it is released.

Calvin United Church of Christ (1946 Bakewell Street, Toledo) is looking to hire a musician to cover our Sunday 10:30 worship services (except for the 1st Sunday of each month), and possibly our Christmas Eve service at 4:00 pm. We have a brand new Roland keyboard, complete with all the bells and whistles. Our musician provides a prelude, postlude, music for offering, and hymns. Please send your resume to: [email protected]
