The mission team to Tijuana got back on Tuesday. We'll be sure to give them all a chance to share about it soon. Until then, enjoy these pictures from their time there!

We want to thank Pastor Naomi, her family, and the whole El Shaddai Church community for caring for the team.

👀Question Sneak Peek👀
In this week's Beatitude: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God," Ralph talked about the fact that "peace" in the biblical sense (shalom in Hebrew) means more than the absence of conflict—it means wholeness, completeness, perfect well-being. How has the presence of Christ in your life helped you know this peace, however imperfectly or inconsistently?

🏐Looking for a fun way to connect this summer?🏐

Starting Monday, June 15th from 7-9pm, we'll be gathering every week for volleyball behind the church! Anyone age 14 & older is welcome to play.

Not a volleyball player? No problem! Come hang out, watch the games, and enjoy the evening with us. Bring a lawn chair, a snack, some water, or simply bring yourself.

Families are encouraged to come! Let the kids enjoy the church grounds while you relax, hang out, and cheer on the players.

We'd love to see you there!

Our team is on their way to Mexico! Please pray for safe travels, fruitful ministry, and Kingdom-advancing moments as they serve. We can’t wait to see how God works through them on this trip. We also want to thank Que for driving them to the airport!

Read Jeremiah 2:9-13. Phil said we have very often chosen to put all of our devotion into "broken cisterns" that let us down in the end. He mentioned two remedies, the first one being: REPENT, which means to make a 180 degree turn from our sin toward God. This repenting, this turning, is always more effective when we are not only turning from something (saying NO), but turning toward something (saying YES). What deeper and higher YES do you need to say today in order to say NO to some smaller, lesser thing?

Being merci-FULL is not something we can muster up on our own. It is the gift of God. Former pastor and author John Stott wrote, "Nothing moves us to forgive like the sense of wonder that we ourselves have been forgiven." Read Romans 5:8, and take a moment in silent wonder of God's incredible mercy toward you. Then, if in a group, discuss together.
