What is the greatest commandment?

When Jesus was asked this question, His answer was clear: Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.

But as Fr. Dave shares in this week’s Pastor’s Ponderings, living out these commandments isn’t always easy.

We’re called to bring God every part of our lives, not just the parts we have figured out. And we’re called to see the people we encounter, even those who challenge us, as opportunities to love.

Take a few minutes to listen to this week’s reflection and think about how you can put these words into practice.

Love God. Love your neighbor. ❤️

This All Saints weekend, we remember those we love who have gone before us.

At every Mass on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, we will read aloud the names of parishioners and loved ones who have passed away during the past year. Come pray with us and hold them close as we celebrate the communion of saints.

Mass times:
Saturday, Oct. 31 | 5:00pm
Sunday, Nov. 1 | 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

What does it mean to be a missionary?

For many of us, the word “missionary” brings to mind individuals who travel to distant countries to spread the Gospel.

But as Fr. Dave reminds us in this week’s Pastor’s Ponderings, we are all called to be missionaries, and our mission territory is wherever God has placed us.

Through the love we show our families, the faithfulness we bring to our relationships, and the choices we make each day, we have opportunities to share Christ’s love with others.

And when we hear the words “Go in peace” at the end of Mass, we’re not simply being dismissed. We’re being sent out to live our faith!

Our mission doesn’t begin somewhere far away. It begins right here.

Take a few moments to watch Fr. Dave’s reflection on World Mission Sunday and consider how God may be calling you to live out your mission this week.
