Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation The Foundation manages fundraising and investment resources for current and future ministry needs.

Since its founding, Genacross Lutheran Services has continued to expand to meet the needs of people in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Today, Genacross annually serves more than 3,500 people of all ages and supports various community programs that are in keeping with our mission of service. But none of this would be possible without the generous support of our donors who share in our missio

n. That is where the Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation comes in. The Foundation is responsible for helping donors who would like to join in the Genacross mission — whether through a single, one-time gift or through planned giving. We ensure that all gifts are used for their intended purpose and provide a point of contact for donors who would like to see the difference their gifts have made.

Congratulations to Dee Levesque-Thomas, Senior Level Manager for our Luther Hills senior community in Oregon, Ohio. She applied to the Staff Scholarship Fund and received funds to obtain her Certified Occupancy Specialist certification from the National Center for Housing Management. "I want to be the person who not only understands the regulations, but translates them into clear practical processes that protect residents and support long-term stability," Dee said in her application. Foundation Executive Director Mike George recently presented Dee with her check at Luther Hills near the "puzzle wall."

Foundation Executive Director Mike George recently thanked agents of RE/MAX Preferred Associates for the generous Christmas gifts they donated for our youth in care at Genacross Family and Youth Services. The children created homemade cards to share their gratitude. Foundation Board member and real estate agent Arlene Gerig was instrumental in the effort.

We so appreciate the grant from Providence Lutheran Church! The money will go toward an outdoor playset for our new youth group home. Your grant will make many children happy!

This morning's 9:00 service was especially meaningful, marked by the presentation of checks to those awarded the 2025 Grant from our Endowment Fund. We are blessed and grateful to support these ministrys.
