The Episcopal Church is a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, which is an international association of churches in full communion with the Church of England. Each national or regional church in the Angl

ican Communion has full autonomy. In belief, The Episcopal Church represents a "Media Via" or "Middle Way" between Protestantism and Catholicism. Like Christians everywhere, we believe in Jesus Christ, as expressed in the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds. We find our sources of authority in Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. Like most churches, we depend on our survival on the generosity of our parishioners and friends for support. We do not discriminate against anyone for any reason.
