Emmaus Road Baptist Church Bronx, NYC We are a family church that seeks to follow God by opening the Scriptures and revealing Christ. As we open the Scriptures, we desire that Christ is revealed.

Our church exists to tell the people of the Bronx (and specifically, the Kingsbridge neighborhood) about the good news of salvation. Our church was started in 2017 under the leadership of Pastor Ben Hamilton. The Hamilton family was sent from Bethel Baptist Fellowship (www.bethelbaptistfellowship.org) in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn to start this new church work in Kingsbridge, Bronx. The Hamiltons ha

ve been ministering in New York City since 2010. They currently serve under the leadership of Baptist World Mission (www.baptistworldmission.org). We currently meet on Sundays at 10:45 AM at the VFW Post 95, located at 3960 Orloff Avenue in the Bronx.

Today we had the blessing of welcoming a missionary family from Canada who shared their experiences serving and ministering to a town there. Hearing how the Gospel is reaching people in different places is always such a powerful reminder that God is working everywhere.

Today’s message was from Luke 18, focusing on the question that matters most: “What must I do to be saved?”

The answer isn’t our works, our status, or anything we can earn. Salvation comes through humility, repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Grateful for the encouragement today and for brothers and sisters who are faithfully carrying the Gospel to other communities. The harvest is bigger than we realize. 🙏
