Day of Service

Taylorsville South Stake Day of Service: Cookie Swap & Ice Cream Social!
Mark your calendar for September 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stake Bowery (3495 W. 4850 S.). Bring 1–2 dozen cookies to trade and swap, then create a mixed cookie tray to take to a neighbor.
We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider who might be blessed by a simple act of kindness. A small tray of cookies can brighten someone’s day in a big way.
Once your cookie deliveries are planned, stick around for an ice cream social, time with friends, and plenty of treats to enjoy. Afterwards, show some love to your neighbor with the cookies.

Coming Up!

Ward Mission Training — 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30th in the stake High Council room. This training will discuss Ward Mission objectives, coordination, and importance of involvement of all Ward members. All Ward Mission Leaders and Relief Society and Elders Quorum Presidency Counselors over missionary work are invited to attend.

Stake Music Meeting Tomorrow — 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30th, in the Relief Society Room of the stake center. This meeting will be for all ward music coordinators, accompanists and choir directors.

3:00 p.m Sunday, July 12th, in the High Council room of the stake center. This meeting is for all ward Temple and Family History Leaders, along with Elders Quorum and Relief Society counselors assigned to temple and family history.

Single Adult Fireside (35+) Tomorrow Night!

7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12th, at the west chapel on 3676 West 4700 South.

The fireside will feature Elder K. Bruce Boucher, who will speak about recent changes to the single adult program in the Utah area and how single adults can strengthen their faith in Christ.
