On Friday February 20th, 8 local Evangelical Utah Pastors gathered with 8 LDS Religion Professors from BYU for our 2nd "Pastors and Professors" Dialogue. Continued excellent engagement and dialogue between the two groups is a good thing. We hope to make this conversation a new dialogue tradition between Utah Evangelicals and Latter-day Saints. Acts 17:16-17, shows us that the best way to pursue Truth is to keep talking to each other!

Last week, I was honored to represent Utah at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC as the guest of Congressman Mike Kennedy of Utah’s 3rd District.

On February 5th, I was honored to be invited to represent the state of Utah in a national prayer of repentance. I felt the burden confess to God the sin of a religious spirit. Anytime someone trusts in the religion or in their religious practices over the personal relationship with Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, it is a sin. Religion does not save us, Jesus Christ in the only way, the only truth, and the only life, whereby we can be saved. Jn. 14:6

December Update | Standing Together: Israel, Dialogue, Legacy, and Year-End Giving

In this December update, Greg Johnson shares key moments from the past month with Standing Together.

Greg reflects on a meaningful journey to Israel, offering insight into what God is doing through relationships, learning, and presence in the land. He also discusses recent dialogue between LDS and Christian scholars—conversations marked by respect, conviction, and a shared pursuit of truth.

This update also acknowledges the passing of a prominent LDS leader, a moment that invites reflection on legacy, faith, and leadership. On a more personal note, Greg celebrates the joy of welcoming a new grandson, reminding us that God’s work unfolds both publicly and privately.

As the year comes to a close, Greg extends an invitation to partner with Standing Together through year-end giving—helping sustain the mission, expand gospel conversations, and prepare for what God has ahead in the coming year.

Thank you for praying, giving, and standing with us.
