There is a difference between visiting God’s presence and dwelling in God’s presence.
Sunday’s message walked us through the Tabernacle and showed us that prayer is more than bringing a list of needs to God. Prayer is a journey.
From the gate of thanksgiving, to repentance at the altar, to cleansing through His Word, to worship, dependence, and finally entering into the Holy of Holies where His presence dwells.
Too many believers stop in the outer court. We thank Him, make our requests known, and leave. But God is calling His people deeper.
Deeper than routine.
Deeper than religion.
Deeper than surface-level Christianity.
The veil has been torn. The way has been made. Through Jesus Christ we have access to the presence of God.
Don’t settle for the gate when He is inviting you into His presence.
