Greetings from The Tallapoosa church of Christ,
This year we have made plans to get involved in a community outreach program. We now have two pantry boxes located on the front of the building to assist you with some basic needs. Please be mindful of others, and please keep the doors closed. We are not rich but we want to help in some way, so we are looking forward to this ministry. In return, we would love for you and your family to attend our Bible study on Wednesday at 7:00 or our worship services on Sunday at 9:30 Bible study at 10:30 and our last service at 11:30 for your convenience. We would like for you to visit with us as we Labor in this area. We are a small group of Christians with a desire to please God. We would love to see this congregation filled with Tallapoosians🤣. Since covid many congregations have dwindled down to just a few faithful members. We are looking for Bible believing men and women who really love the Lord, and who really want to go to heaven. As the church in this area, we believe that the Bible is the only hope for mankind, we teach and preach directly from it's pages. Greetings from the Tallapoosa church of Christ. I trust you are getting adjusted to this time change 😢 Today I want to discuss the curse and the blessing of live stream. I've had a couple of discussions about the situation at hand. First I'll say something about the blessing of live stream. As Christians I believe we are to use every means available to reach the lost and the unchurched. Many congregations are using this method to preach to the masses. Perhaps those individuals viewing our pages might someday obey the gospel,that we will never know unless we are contacted. But we must still reach out to all men as much as we can. The curse of live stream is that it's difficult to divide one's attention to one audience, without mentioning those that are viewing the page🤔 Whether preaching to the audience on Sunday, or to those on live stream the job is getting done. When Im preaching on The Lord's Day, I want to feel a personal connection to all that I share God's message with. Whether I can see their face or not. Both audiences are very important as we discuss God's word together. I wish we could have 200 visiting with us on Sunday in person, but 200 people have chosen to visit us by way of life stream and we love them just as much as the ones who come through the doors each Lord's Day. Perhaps if we could preach two different lessons at the same time we might be more effective 🤔 Yes, the curse of live stream has caused those who once came through the doors, to no longer have a desire to be in the assembly. So again we plead with them on live stream. You see, it's difficult trying to fix every situation. Let's just preach the word and God will work the rest of it out for us. Just my thoughts

Greetings from the Tallapoosa church of Christ!
Indeed God is in the blessing business. I truly hope you are counting every one that He is giving to you. That being said, I want to address a question, why is it that we continue to bask in the blessings of God, and don't return the favor. I often hear people say " God sure is blessing me, and those same people never show up at the worship service. They ask for you to pray for them and they get better, but never show up to praise God in the assembly 🤔. Can people go on slapping God in the face like this? There is going to come a day when people will really need God, and he won't be there for them. If an earthly father soon gets tired of his children not showing appreciation for what he does for them, how much more will our Heavenly Father get tired of us. Let's not receive God's blessings and walk away from him. It's time to turn and run to him on Sunday morning with out stretched arms giving thanks for all that he does.

Greetings from the Tallapoosa church of Christ. Thank you so very much for the time you take out of your busy schedule to view our page and read this short note. Today was a very difficult day, having to preach about the death of God's Son, and our Savior. But no matter how difficult it may be to talk about, the world needs to know the price that was paid for our sins to be forgiven. We are living in a world of evil, mankind is getting worse and worse, indicating that there is a greater need for the Blood of Christ to cleanse it. If you are a gospel preacher, church member, elder, it is far past time that we tell the world with greater conviction what took place at the Cross for mankind. We are losing our own brothers and sisters back to Satan and his domain, all because we are getting soft. It is time to put on the whole armor of God and get ready for the fight ahead. Reclaim our own, and lead others to Christ our savior 🙏. It's time for a real revival in the church, every available christian doing everything we can to win souls. Enough said....🔥🙏👍
