Dinner & Devo

Dinner & Devo Navigating adulthood alone is hard—faith doesn’t have to be.

A safe, welcoming space for high school seniors and adults to bring real struggles, ask honest questions, grow in God’s Word, and build genuine community around the table (Acts 2:42).

As this Easter day comes to an end, let’s not leave its meaning behind with it.
Let’s carry it with us into tomorrow and every day after.

Jesus didn’t go to the cross for a moment…
He went so we could have eternity with Him.
He is preparing a place for us, so we can be with Him forever.

He died so we could be forgiven.
So we could be set free.
So we wouldn’t have to live in bitterness.
So we would never be separated from God again.

And He didn’t leave us alone-
He gave us His Spirit
to dwell within us,
to guide us,
to strengthen us,
to remind us who we are in Him.

He is alive.
He is with us.
He goes before us.
He intercedes for us.
He loves us.

Tonight, as everything calms, remember this:
the resurrection didn’t just happen for you-
it’s meant to live in you. ✝️

Today feels different-
Not loud.
Not rushed.
Just… still.

Around our tables, in our homes, and in the quiet moments the cross is remembered-

Not as a symbol of death, but as love poured out.

A body broken
Blood given freely
A sacrifice that didn’t have to happen-
but did anyway

For us

The cross wasn’t just something Jesus endured. It was obedience to the Father-
even when it cost Him everything.

And before there was an empty tomb;
before there was victory…
there was surrender.

A love that stayed
A Savior who didn’t walk away

So today.. pause.

Whether your table is full
or it’s just you sitting in the quiet…
break the bread.
sit in the weight of it.
let it mean something again.

Because this…
this is why we gather.
This is why we come to the table.
This is why we live different.

There are days we feel dim.
Like the light in us has been buried under exhaustion, hurt, or disappointment.

Days where we don’t feel strong.
Where we don’t feel close to God.
Where we don’t even feel like ourself.

But our feelings don’t determine our light..
He does.

If He lives in us, then His light is still there-
even when we can’t see it;
even when we can’t feel it.

And just like the sun this morning,
it didn’t ask for permission to rise;
it didn’t check how dark the night had been

it just came up anyway.

That’s us-

Still rising
Still shining
Still becoming brighter and brighter

until the day we stand face to face with Him in full light.

🥖 Dinner & Devo has always been about something simple but powerful:

Sitting down.
Opening the Word.
Sharing a meal.
Praying together.

Creating space for real conversation and real fellowship.

That’s been my heart from the beginning.

And I know not everyone gets to experience that in person… but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen at your table too.

So I created a 5-Day Dinner & Devo Starter Pack to bring that same intention into your everyday life.

This isn’t about doing it perfectly.
It’s not about having the right words.

It’s about showing up right where you are.

Inside you’ll find:
✨ 5 short devotions
✨ Conversation starters to help guide real discussion
✨ A simple structure to follow

You can choose:
🤍 Standard Pack — $5
🤍 With Kids Activities — $7 (so they can be part of it too 🤍)

Whether it’s with your family, your kids, your friends, or just you and God… this is a way to create those moments right at home.

Comment “DEVO” or message me for more details and ways to pay 🤍

🌱 Garden Reminder

Planting a seed isn’t the same as growing a garden.

A seed won’t thrive just because it was planted once. If it’s ignored (no water, no care, no attention) it doesn’t magically grow. It withers.

God calls us to patience, yes… but not neglect.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9

Faith looks like showing up consistently. Small acts. Daily tending. Trusting God with the growth while still being faithful with what He’s already placed in our hands.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:6

🕊️ Reflection:
What seed has God planted in your life that needs your attention again?

🌾 The harvest comes, not from control and not from neglect, but from faithful tending over time.
