Tomorrow is the day!

Our Timeless Blessings Father’s Day Dinner is tomorrow evening at 6:00 PM at Ed’s Truckstop!

We look forward to a great evening of food, fellowship, and honoring the fathers and father figures who have made such an impact on our lives. And don’t forget… there will be watermelon for dessert! 🍉

This will be our last Timeless Blessings gathering before our summer break, so we hope you’ll make plans to join us. We’ll resume our monthly gatherings in September.

Adult Sunday School Fellowship Tomorrow!

Gina will be bringing homemade muffins for our Adult Sunday School class tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM! These delicious muffins were made by Dawn Hall, the same sweet lady who baked the amazing cinnamon rolls for our conference.

We’ll have an assortment of:

🍓 Strawberry
🍑 Peach
🍌 Banana Nut
🍫 Chocolate Chip
🫐 Mixed Berry

Bring your favorite beverage and come enjoy some fellowship, good conversation, and God’s Word with us in the Adult Sunday School Class. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning at Landmark Church of God!

This morning, as I was praying for Pastor Kevin and his family, I found myself reflecting on all the blessings Landmark Church of God has experienced since they arrived.

Not only have we grown spiritually, but we have also grown in fellowship and opportunities to connect with one another. Since Pastor Kevin and his family have been here, we have attended a women’s conference in Tifton, our girls have enjoyed Tea for Two event, the boys have gone camping and participated in activities together, our women’s ministry (Fearless) has become active, we’ve shared many fellowship meals, had an egg hunt, organized and hosted our own women’s conference, have a nursery space, had a yard sale, and Pastor Kevin even cooked breakfast for the men. We have also been blessed by a talented worship team made up of members of their family who can seemingly play just about any instrument and faithfully use their gifts to lead us into worship each service. We are also sending our youth boys to summer camp with tuition all paid. I’m sure I’m leaving out some things, but those are what came to mind as I was praying this morning.

What I appreciate most is that Pastor Kevin genuinely cares about people and where they will spend eternity. He preaches the truth of God’s Word and challenges us to grow in our walk with Christ. He is helping move Landmark forward while keeping our focus where it belongs—on Jesus.

We are thankful for Pastor Kevin, Sister Keri, and their family. Their leadership, faithfulness, and willingness to serve have been a blessing to our church.

Have you ever noticed that the more time we spend listening to the news, scrolling social media, and worrying about things we can't control, the heavier everything feels?

Sometimes the best thing we can do is step away from the noise and spend a little time with the One who never changes.

God hasn't lost control. He hasn't forgotten about your situation. He hasn't stopped working behind the scenes.

Today, take a few moments to pray, open your Bible, and remind yourself of God's faithfulness. The same God who brought you through yesterday is already walking with you through today.

"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

Every day won’t be easy, but every day comes with new grace.

Some days we feel strong and full of faith. Other days we feel tired, overwhelmed, and unsure of what comes next. The good news is that God doesn’t just give us grace for the big moments in life. He gives us grace for TODAY.

Grace for the difficult conversations. Grace for the burdens we carry. Grace for the mistakes we’ve made. Grace for the things we’re still praying about.

Whatever this week brings your way, remember that God’s mercy has not run out. His faithfulness has not changed. His grace is still sufficient.

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation.” Psalm 68:19
