Unpopular Opinion: Pastors, leaders, or anyone else should never have to chase people down and beg them to attend church. Too often, the enemy uses the spirit of offense to make us believe we’re unloved or unnoticed, but that’s simply not the case.

Your attendance is ultimately between you and the Lord. Yes, it’s important to express love and let people know they’re missed, but the decision to show up should come from a personal commitment, not from feeling pursued. If leaving a place is based on whether or not we’re sought after, then it’s only a matter of time before offense takes root in another way.

Instead of letting offense dictate our choices, we should seek the Lord for endurance and ask Him to silence the lies that try to pull us away.
