Nursery open during our 10:30 worship.

Kids Church (Pre-K thru 5th grade) happens during our 10:30 worship (Sept - May). "We, at NewLife, are a people who exist to serve others in becoming fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ and in turn, lead others to Him." When visiting, you'll find that even though NewLife is non-traditional in style with contemporary Christian music you'd hear on the radio, we are deeply committed to the unchan

ging truth of the Bible and participate in the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. Worship Service Times:
Sundays at 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM. Our 10:30 worship service is also available via LIVEstream here on FB and on our website.
*Please note, we have 5th Sunday Family Worship Days and will gather ONLY at 10:30 AM on the 5th Sundays.*

As a community of believers, we are affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), but operate as an idependent church. For more information on the LCMS, go to www.lcms.org.

Whether we live faithfully or not, our loving God is relentlessly faithful in His promises to us. Community helps us look honestly at where we've been, and gives us a place to encourage one another with the truth of God's presence and provision through it all.

"All my life You have been faithful..
You have led me through the fire
In darkest nights
You are close like no other...
I have lived in the goodness of God."

Tomorrow concludes this summer's Hope in the Wilderness series with a look at Numbers 33. Hope to see you in worship!
Join us at 9:00am or 10:30am in the Worship Center.

Good news! God sees us differently than we see ourselves.

Scripture reminds us that we don't lose our value because we've made a mess of our life. What God says stands!

His Word and promises don't change when we do. God's Spirit is still at work—even through broken people. Not because we're always faithful or strong or never mess up, but because God is faithful.

Even when we can't see it, God is working for His people.

In 1626 at 20 years old, Rembrandt painted this scene from Numbers 22. His painting, Balaam and the Donkey, captures the dramatic moment when Balaam finally sees what had been there all along: that God had been working long before Balaam could see Him.

Breath Prayer is a spiritual practice we've engaged before at NewLife. Would love to hear your thoughts on this article, or how Breath Praying has been helpful for you!

Inhale: Jesus, my God.
Exhale: Thank you for being a friend who is with me always.

Inhale: Lord Jesus.
Exhale: Give me patience and understanding.

Inhale: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God.
Exhale: Have mercy on me.

“I am a mom to two young children,” wrote Esther Shin Chuang in 2023. “When I finally find the time to be alone with God after my kids go to bed, I find myself too exhausted for extended prayer.

I started feeling guilty that I couldn’t spend long hours with God like I used to and felt my walk with God grow stale. At the same time, I realized that I needed God more than ever when my toddler made yet another mess at mealtime and my kids bickered and screamed at each other. I desired to come to God, but I struggled to find that chunk of time.”

Her spiritual director “advised me to be more gracious with myself and to practice breath prayers throughout the day.

In breath prayers, the Christian begins by focusing his or her heart and mind on God. The prayer is then divided into a few words on the inhale and a few words on the exhale.

Whether a Scripture verse or a theological couplet, breath prayers are meant to be short. This allows them versatility so Christians can pray wherever they are, while doing anything.
