Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I invite you to join us tonight, Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at 7:00 PM as we continue our Bible Study on the Video Series The Chosen: Season 5. Tonight we will study Episode Three: Woes

We will prepare ourselves by reading some selected Scripture passages, then watch the episode. As we watch the episode, I will pause it to point out those things portrayed that are Biblically or historically inaccurate. If time permits, after the episode, we will talk about the good and useful points and what it is trying to teach us.

Our Study Guide and a timeline for Jesus movements during Holy Week will be available in the Fellowship Hall.

What I've discovered is I cannot record and post the Chosen Video Episode portion on YouTube. So the recorded version of this Bible Study will be our discussion only. However I will post a link whereby you can watch this episode for free.

I invite you to join us here at Lamb of God in the Fellowship Hall tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 at 10:00 AM for our LifeLight Worship and Bible Study on the Gospel of John.

After a short time of Worship and Prayer, we will review John 7:23-8:11 by answering the questions under Day #4 of our Study Guide.

Then we will move on to read and meditate on John 8:12-30

Copies of our Study Guide and our brief order of worship will be available in the Fellowship Hall.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I invite you to join us this Sunday, June 7th, 2026 for our Divine Worship Service celebrating the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost. The focus of our Worship Service will be on our Gospel Lesson, the calling of Matthew the Tax Collector, and how God's Gracious gift of faith enables that to happen.

We will gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00 AM for our Bible Study "A Longer Look at the Lessons" when we will spend 35 minutes looking at our appointed Old Testament Lesson which is Hosea 5:13-6:6, which is an episode from the history of Israel. We will especially seek to understand in context verse 6 which is quoted by Jesus in our Gospel Lesson, "I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings".

Then stay for our Worship Service where:

** In the Children's Message I talk about how God loves other kids, and even us when we are not very loveable

** The Sermon is drawn from our Gospel Lesson Matthew 9:11-13 "Hitting the Bullseye"

Please stay for our Fellowship Hour after worship. No one signed up to sponsor today. There are things to put out back in the kitchen I'm told. I'm hoping someone will have the time to help with that. We also need a sponsor for next Sunday as well.

All are welcomed to join me at 12:00 PM for our Walking Together Adult Confirmation/Membership Bible Study in the Meeting room on the right side of the Fellowship Hall. This Sunday we will be studying Baptism, Confession and Absolution, and the Office of the Keys. Handouts are attached and will be available in the Meeting Room.
