Wednesday Nights started back tonight!

➡️ Pastor Michael lead us through Malachi 1:1-5 tonight and then we moved into discussion groups to study further.

Wednesday nights are such a powerful time to reconnect with the Word of God and with God’s people during the middle of the week.

Join us next week 6-7:30pm. Bring your Bible, bring a heart seeking God, and bring a friend.

Continue to pray, continue to study the Word, and continue to worship until we see you again this Sunday! 💙

☀️ SUMMER MIDWEEK KICKOFF ☀️

Join us TOMORROW at 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary as we launch our Summer Midweek Sessions!

Here is everything you need to know:
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Location: Main Sanctuary (Everyone, including kids, will be studying together here!)
📖 What to bring: Your Bible and a snack if you’d like (please note: no full meals/food will be provided).
🙌 The Plan: Pastor Michael will lead our study, followed by break-out discussion groups.

We want this to be a refreshing time to rest, connect, and study God’s word together. We can’t wait to see you there tomorrow!

We had the best time celebrating the close of another school year with our church family and community, at our End of School Year Bash. 💙

This Sunday we will recognize our graduates during the Worship Service at 10am 🎓, followed by the kick off of our Vacation Bible School at 5:30pm Sunday afternoon. ☘️ This year's theme is Emerald Crossing, an adventure through Psalm 23!

Join us if you are in the area for any or all of our upcoming ministries at River of Life Baptist Church!

Sun. May 10: I'll be preaching on Zechariah 13 with the sermon titled, "The fountain and the fire." We will have a gift for mothers & we will pray over & have a gift for our teachers who teach or work on staff in local schools as we continue to show our teachers our appreciation for what they do for the children in our community!

Wed. May 27 from 5:30-7:30 pm we will have our community wide end of school bash with 3 huge water slides & a bunch of other fun stuff to celebrate the kids!

Sun. May 31: we recognize all of our graduates from prek, k, 5th, 8th, 12th, college, & post-grad at the beginning of service.

Sun. May 31- Thurs. June 4: we launch our week of VBS! Register by scanning the QR code below! VBS will be held Sun-Thurs from 5:30-8 pm with a meal for the entire family to kickoff each night! We have something for all ages!

Sun. June 29 - Thurs. July 2 from 9 am - 4 pm: Victory Sports Camp for grades 1-6! Check out the QR code below for registration details!

Today was the 75th National Day of prayer. We gathered as a church, a city, a county, a state, a nation, to lift our hearts to the Lord. 🙏

In the name of Jesus we prayed for our government, our military, our education system, our media, our first responders, our churches, our families…⛪️🏡

We held hands with fellow church members, neighboring pastors, and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. 💙

Let us not stop praying as tomorrow dawns, let us remember the power of the name of Jesus we can call upon at any moment. 👑

Thank you to all who joined us around the flagpole today at River of Life Baptist Church.

The 75th National Day of Prayer Event will take place right at 12 Noon today, Thursday, May 7, 2026 at River of Life Baptist Church, Sunset Beach, NC. Due to forecasted rain and thunderstorms, the event will take place inside the church building. Attenders are encouraged to use the drive-up area at the front of the church as a close drop-off spot for passengers. Members of the church’s prayer ministry team will be assisting people coming in from the main parking lot area.
