Position Overview

The Town of Sunset Beach is seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time Firefighter / Medical Responder (MR) position. This position is open to anyone who is currently certified—or able to obtain reciprocity in North Carolina—as a Firefighter 2 and Medical Responder.

Work Schedule: 48 hours on, 96 hours off

Position Objectives

Performs specialized fire suppression, emergency medical services, water rescue, fire prevention, community risk reduction, and other related department operations as required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Sunset Beach Fire Department.

Desirable Training & Experience

NC EMT certification
NC Firefighter 2 certification
NIMS 100, 200, and 700
North Carolina Class B (Non-CDL) driver’s license
NC Emergency Vehicle Driver (EVD)
NC Driver/Operator (Aerials and Pumps)

Time flies! It’s almost July… 🇺🇸

As you grocery shop and stock up on groceries please take time and grab some extras for those in need. Everything we collect is such a blessing to others in need.

The BBC Lords Food Pantry box is located in the foyer of Beulah Baptist Church (BBC). And an additional box is located in the Fellowship
area.
