Longwood Baptist Church

Longwood Baptist Church . Services first began on June 15, 1939 in a dwelling house in Longwood. The services continued there until the completion of a church building in 1940. A.D.

Our first pastor was Rev. Harrelson. The first deacons were Brothers Jim Milliken, Don Harrelson, & Sam Jo Frink. Over the years, God blessed our church & we remained there until 1977. In 1977 a new church was built on land donated by Mr. & Mrs. Worth Ward & Mr. and Mrs. George Williamson. In 2001, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Somersett donated a one half acre tract of land to the church. We have used this

portion of land to extend our parking area. Over the years we have made many improvements to our church as well as our fellowship building..
