The church landscape continues to evolve. If you need advice, Matt at Revive Community Development is a good resource. https://www.wpr.org/news/wisconsin-churches-turn-old-buildings-into-housing?fbclid=IwdGRzaAVRqJNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBwZG9mAXNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABH1IomaL-X_rRVs-ICx7l2zYKYw8OJ05s3pmJATb9IVvflsg0BdRxN3CeXJDB_aem_nFTYp4VK4s-rM_sq24PrFA

As many communities struggle to meet demand for housing, some Wisconsin congregations are redeveloping their old properties into new community centers, complete with apartments.

Fall new ministry grants are due at the end-of-day Sunday, Nov. 1. The Grants team of our board will meet Tuesday, Nov. 17 virtually to decide. They all receive a "grant snack pack" for helping WUMF out! Thank you for all you do! Award letters went out at the beginning of Dec. last year and will be similar this year.

What a great fall board meeting! A big thank you to Palmyra UMC, Rev. Tom Alverson, and staff for hosting and providing refreshments! We thanked departing board members and voted in new ones. (Interested? Email [email protected] for an application.) So glad they were able to do this even while their big turkey dinner is coming up in a couple of weeks.
