What an incredible week we shared at VBS last week!

A big thank you to all of our Pre-K through 6th grade students for making this week so special. Your joy, curiosity, and energy filled each day as we learned, prayed, and journeyed together through the Our Father with St. Joseph Cupertino. It was a blessing to watch you grow in faith and friendship and to see your excitement, especially during our mini carnival on the last day!

We are also deeply grateful to our amazing teen and adult staff. Your time, dedication, and enthusiasm made this entire week possible. From leading and stepping in to help our activities, crafts, snack time, bible and faith lessons to creating such a welcoming and faith-filled environment each day, your efforts truly made a lasting impact on every child who attended…

And remember the words of our prayer we said to end each day:

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for this wonderful day of learning, praying, and growing together. As our parade around the Our Father comes to an end today, help the words of this beautiful prayer stay in our hearts.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, you always lifted your heart to God with joy and trust. Pray for us, that we may remember to talk to Jesus every day and follow Him wherever He leads us.

May we always remember that God is our Father, we are His children, and heaven is our true home. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you all for such a beautiful and memorable VBS week!

With love and gratitude,

Hannah, DRE

Wow! We truly had such great weather during our Highway clean up this morning.. I am so grateful to everyone who joined us for our cleanup today. Your willingness to serve not only made our roadsides cleaner, but also reflected a deeper commitment to caring for the world we share. As a result we were able to collect 4 full garbage bags of litter!

In his encyclical Laudato Si’, Pope Francis reminds us all that“The earth is our common home,” and each small act of stewardship contributes to its healing and renewal. Today was a beautiful example of that spirit in action. By caring for our environment, we care for one another and for future generations. For every bag filled is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together for the good of our environment! 🌎❤️🙏🏻

What a beautiful morning we shared! I am still overflowing with much gratitude as I reflect on the wonderful kickoff to our Blessed is She: Women's Summer Workshop Series this past Saturday at St. Bridget's! 🌷🙏🏻

God truly smiled upon us with the most gorgeous weather, but even more radiant were these 13 incredible women who joined us for a morning of celebration, reflection, and sisterhood. There's something so sacred about women gathering together to share their hearts, their stories, and their faith and we felt that blessing in abundance.

To each woman who showed up, opened up, and lifted up our time together: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made this first workshop everything I prayed it would be and more!

Please join us for our next workshops:

Saturday, July 11th at St. Bernard's
Saturday, July 25th at St. Bridget’s
Saturday, August 22nd at St. Bernard’s

All workshops are from 9:00–11:30am in the social hall come to one or come to all.

Blessed Is She: A Summer Women’s Workshop Series 🌷

All women of St. Bernard’s and St. Bridget’s are warmly invited to a 4-session summer workshop series centered on love, community, and sisterhood. Inspired by Mary’s joyful faith in Luke 1:45 — “Blessed is she who believed” — this series will explore the beauty of women’s discipleship through Scripture, the witness of holy women, and the gifts of the “feminine genius” so often affirmed by Pope Francis. You're welcome to attend one or all sessions! 😊

Each gathering will include prayer, reflection, small-group conversation, fellowship, and a simple activity designed to build connection and
encouragement among women of all ages and stages in life. Whether you are young or young at heart, new to the parish or long-time member, you are welcome to come as you are and share in this time of grace-filled sisterhood!

Session Themes:

Session 1: Blessed Faith
Saturday, June 20th | 9:00–11:30 AM
St. Bridget’s Social Hall

Session 2: Women Who Witness

What a joyful and grace-filled season it has been for our parish communities!

We are overflowing with joy and gratitude as we celebrate and congratulate all 21 of our First Holy Communicants this year!

We were blessed to celebrate our First Holy Communion Masses on Sunday, May 3rd and again this past weekend on Sunday, May 31st. These beautiful celebrations were filled with faith, love, and the joyful presence of our parish families and community.

As Director of Religious Education, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to each of our communicants and their families. Thank you to our catechists, volunteers, clergy, musicians, photographers, and everyone who helped make these sacred celebrations so meaningful and memorable.

Please continue to keep all 21 of our First Holy Communicants in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless them abundantly on their spiritual journey!

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” — John 6:56

Congratulations again to our amazing First Holy Communicants! 🕊️🤍

What a beautiful and grace-filled evening we shared last Friday as our parish communities celebrated our second Confirmation this spring at Pax Christi Catholic Church!

Once again, we are overflowing with joy and gratitude for each of our 13 newly Confirmed youth who said “yes” to the Holy Spirit that evening and took this important step deeper into their Catholic faith. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire them throughout their lives.

A special thank you to all of our families, sponsors, and catechists who have walked alongside each our confirmandi’s throughout this journey of preparation and faith. Your love, prayers, and support make moments like this possible!

Congratulations once again to now our entire 2026 Confirmation Class (all 14 of them!)… “Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.” 🕊️

Please continue to keep all our newly Confirmed in your prayers as they continue their journey of faith and discipleship. May God bless each of them abundantly today and always.
