Blessed Is She: A Summer Women’s Workshop Series 🌷

All women of St. Bernard’s and St. Bridget’s are warmly invited to a 4-session summer workshop series centered on love, community, and sisterhood. Inspired by Mary’s joyful faith in Luke 1:45 — “Blessed is she who believed” — this series will explore the beauty of women’s discipleship through Scripture, the witness of holy women, and the gifts of the “feminine genius” so often affirmed by Pope Francis. You're welcome to attend one or all sessions! 😊

Each gathering will include prayer, reflection, small-group conversation, fellowship, and a simple activity designed to build connection and
encouragement among women of all ages and stages in life. Whether you are young or young at heart, new to the parish or long-time member, you are welcome to come as you are and share in this time of grace-filled sisterhood!

Session Themes:

Session 1: Blessed Faith
Saturday, June 20th | 9:00–11:30 AM
St. Bridget’s Social Hall

Session 2: Women Who Witness
Saturday, July 11th | 9:00–11:30 AM

What a joyful and grace-filled season it has been for our parish communities!

We are overflowing with joy and gratitude as we celebrate and congratulate all 21 of our First Holy Communicants this year!

We were blessed to celebrate our First Holy Communion Masses on Sunday, May 3rd and again this past weekend on Sunday, May 31st. These beautiful celebrations were filled with faith, love, and the joyful presence of our parish families and community.

As Director of Religious Education, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to each of our communicants and their families. Thank you to our catechists, volunteers, clergy, musicians, photographers, and everyone who helped make these sacred celebrations so meaningful and memorable.

Please continue to keep all 21 of our First Holy Communicants in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless them abundantly on their spiritual journey!

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” — John 6:56

Congratulations again to our amazing First Holy Communicants! 🕊️🤍

What a beautiful and grace-filled evening we shared last Friday as our parish communities celebrated our second Confirmation this spring at Pax Christi Catholic Church!

Once again, we are overflowing with joy and gratitude for each of our 13 newly Confirmed youth who said “yes” to the Holy Spirit that evening and took this important step deeper into their Catholic faith. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire them throughout their lives.

A special thank you to all of our families, sponsors, and catechists who have walked alongside each our confirmandi’s throughout this journey of preparation and faith. Your love, prayers, and support make moments like this possible!

Congratulations once again to now our entire 2026 Confirmation Class (all 14 of them!)… “Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.” 🕊️

Please continue to keep all our newly Confirmed in your prayers as they continue their journey of faith and discipleship. May God bless each of them abundantly today and always.

What an incredible evening at our Family Fun Night! ☀️🎉

We are so grateful to all of our parish families, volunteers, and parishioners who came out to celebrate with us last night. We truly did not expect such an amazing turnout, and seeing so many smiling faces gathered together made the evening even more special!

Thank you for your support, laughter, and community spirit that made the night such a success. Events like these are a beautiful reminder of how blessed we are to be part of such a wonderful parish community.

We are already excited and looking forward to planning for next year! 😊

Wishing you all a fun, safe, and blessed summer!

With joy and gratitude,

Hannah, DRE

Pope Leo tonight outside Castel Gandolfo: "I have been speaking out ever since I was elected. The anniversary is almost here. I said 'Peace be with you,' and the Church’s mission is to preach the Gospel, to preach peace. If anyone wishes to criticize me for proclaiming the Gospel, let them do so with the truth. The Church has spoken for years out against all nuclear weapons, so there is no doubt about this, and I simply hope to be heard for the sake of the Word of God. Thank you."

Last night, we were incredibly blessed to celebrate a very special moment for our parish community as our first confirmandi, received the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.

What a beautiful witness of faith it was to see him say “yes” to the Holy Spirit and be sealed with His gifts. Please join us in praying for him as he continues to grow in his faith and live out his call as a fully initiated member of the Church!

We now look forward with great anticipation to our second Confirmation, which will take place on May 15th at Pax Christi. Please keep all of our confirmandi's in your prayers during this special time.

Come, Holy Spirit! 🔥🕊️
