Friendzy is a Christian social-emotional learning and character education program. It teaches students how to be good friends, handle relationships and conflicts, and build a positive community.

We use Friendzy at St. Paul because it gives teachers structured lessons and activities to help students learn how to interact positively with others while connecting it with biblical principles.

This month's theme is 'Ohana: Stick Together!
Goal: to practice collaboration and empathy in relationships while caring for each other as a community
'Ohana stands for Openhearted, Helpful, Available, Neighborly, Accepting

Teachers and staff will be looking for students who are being 'Ohana (Openhearted, Helpful, Available, Neighborly, Accepting)

There are 2 Bible verses for each theme.
"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourself." Romans 12:9-10
"Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters" Hebrews 13:1

We had a great chapel this morning!

We learned about our chapel offering for September, which is being collected for baptismal crosses.

Mr. Wegner led our service and spoke about how we can be servants in our everyday life.

And a few teachers entertained us with a skit to teach us about the Friendzy theme for this month, which is "Ohana: Stick Together". More about that tomorrow!

Reminder: Special Voters Meeting

The Congregation's Executive Planning Committee has been informed of the opportunity to purchase the property immediately adjacent to the church. As a result, the voters' approval of a resolution to proceed with this is required. A Special Voters' Meeting has been called to meet on Sunday, August 30 after the 9:45 service for this purpose.

These four are playing football with Pacelli Middle School, and have their first game today in Edgar.

While our 3K and 7th/8th grade students began classes yesterday, today the halls were full once again.

From 4K through 8th grade, familiar faces filled our school with cheerful greetings, laughter, and the joyful sounds of children learning and growing together.

The doors are open for our 71st year of Christ-centered education!

We are grateful for another year to learn, serve, grow, and walk together in the grace of Jesus. It is a joy it is to have our school family together again!

🌮 Thursday Lunch Update! 🌮

Just a quick heads-up for our families: Thursday's taco lunch will be chicken tacos instead of beef tacos.

Same taco day, just a different filling.

Teachers were recomissioned today for the 2026-2027 school year!

Also, seven of our teachers were recognized for milestone anniversaries. Together they have a combined 130 years of teaching experience!
