This past week we talked about sin and the way we allow it to have power over our lives. Sin isn’t meant to rule your life God is! We often feel that we are to lost for God but our identity is found in Christ not in the mistakes we make. We also reflected on a few specific questions: What sins are you letting rule over your life?
What sins, burdens, and practices do you need to lay down at the cross tonight? Even if you feel like you are trapped in a box of sin His Grace Is Sufficient to pull you out of it. Thank you Carson for the recap!

This week at youth Ben asked us a series of questions designed to challenge us to take a deeper look at our relationship with God and why we do what we do. Growing our relationship with Him daily looks like spending time with Him through prayer and Gods word, loving God and loving people, and forgiving others so bitterness does not dwell in your heart. Thank you .g.chenevey for the recap!

This past Wednesday we continued in our series talking about God’s Will. We focused this week on 2 different ways we sometimes miss God’s will. One way is because we over spiritualize His will. We want some big sign to tell us what to do. Another way is because we over analyze it. We think that if we aren’t where someone else is in their life then we are behind. We should not compare our lives to others but live in faith trusting he has all of the little questions we have planned out. Thank you Carson for the recap!

This past Wednesday we continued our study on Gods Will. We discussed the four ways god reveals His will which are: 1. Open doors, 2. Closed doors, 3. Opportunities to Have Faith, 4. Everyday Choices. “You don’t have to be certain to be faithful- you just have to take the next step!” Thank you .g.chenevey for the recap

This past Wednesday at youth, we discussed what Gods will for our lives looked like. Mr Darin gave us 4 key points, which were God’s sovereign will, God’s moral will, God’s permissive will, and God’s personal will. God has a specific and personal plan for everyone, and we all have a role within his perfect plan. He gives us free will to choose but every choice we make will be used for his glory. We hope to see you all at youth next week where we will continue to dig into what God’s will for our lives looks like. Thank you for the recap!

This past Wednesday at youth we finished up our series Stand Firm. We talked about how even though Daniel didn’t immediately see the answer to his prayers, God was working. Prayer is how we fight our battles, so even if you haven’t seen it yet, KEEP PRAYING! Thank you .g.chenevey for the recap!

Last Wednesday night, we were on part 3 of our Stand Firm series through the book of Daniel. We talked about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace. In this story we are told that King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of himself for the whole kingdom to worship. But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego worshipped God and knew that worshipping the statue of the king was wrong. But they also knew the consequences of disobeying, they could have just pretended to worship the statue and pray to God instead but they knew that was still wrong. So they bravely stood firm in their faith and were thrown into the fiery furnace knowing that God could save them but also knowing it may have not been his will. Fortunately, it was God’s will and he protected them in the fire and sent His spirit to be in the fire with them. Let us all learn to stand firm in our faith regardless of the consequences! Thank you for the recap!

This past week we continued our series on Standing Firm. We talked about Daniel and how he stood firm and remained obedient to God even when his life was at risk. God calls us to live consistently obedient to Him! Thank you .g.chenevey for the recap!
