Last week, both of our pastors walked across the stage and received well-earned degrees, and we could not be more proud!

Pastor Dennis Laughlin received his Masters of Arts in Church Ministry

Pastor Joel Barron received his Doctorate of Ministry with an emphasis in Counseling

Their dedication to learning, growing, and serving the Kingdom is a blessing to SCOG. Thank you both for leading with wisdom, humility, and a heart for people.

There’s nothing quite like watching hearts respond to the presence of God. ❤️

Yesterday at SCOG, the altars were flooded as people stepped out in faith, laid down burdens, and encountered the Lord in such a powerful way. What a reminder that God is still moving, still restoring, still healing, and still calling people closer to Him.

You could feel the Spirit all throughout the sanctuary — We are so thankful for every life touched and every person who said “yes” to what God was doing.

Church isn’t just a routine… it’s a place where chains break, hope is restored, and lives are changed. And yesterday was one of those unforgettable Sundays.

We’re thankful for His presence.
We’re thankful for our church family.
And we’re believing the best is still ahead.
