There are many who believe, yet have never truly surrendered.
Samantha’s story is one of grace, where God met her in brokenness and led her from self-reliance into true life in Christ.
Samantha was one of my first clients in this work, and from the beginning, I desired so deeply for her to know the true freedom that only Christ brings. It has been a joy and a privilege to witness her life be transformed.
Since we first met, I have watched the Lord not only restore her, but grow her into a godly woman marked by wisdom and discernment.
Her story is powerful, but it is not unique, because God shows no partiality.
What He has done for Samantha, and what He has done for me, He will also do for you.
You only need to trust Him.

Here’s what she shared:
“I was raised in the church and always believed I was a Christian. But in my late 20s, I found myself in a failing marriage, searching for happiness in the world and feeling angry at God. I thought that because I believed in Him, my life shouldn’t look this way.
What started as social drinking slowly turned into an addiction that took over my life. I hit rock bottom in a hospital room, feeling completely alone and broken. In that moment, I prayed, asking God that if I still had purpose, He would bring me out of it.
Not long after, God spoke to me through scripture. Matthew 10:39: “Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” That’s when it clicked, I had never truly surrendered my life to Christ. I was living for myself, chasing what the world offered instead of what only He could give.
Through His grace, God led me into a season of healing, including a year-long recovery program, and gave me a deep desire to know Him. He has redeemed and restored my life in ways I never could have imagined.
Five years later: I am remarried, my relationships with my family have been restored, and I have my own business that allows me to do ministry. I can say with confidence: true life, freedom, and joy are found only in Jesus.”
