📚🙏 A Back-to-School Prayer from Your Troy First Wesleyan Church Family 🙏📚

As a new school year begins, the Troy First Wesleyan Church family wants our students, parents, teachers, administrators, and school staff to know that we are praying for you! ❤️

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of a new school year and for every student, parent, teacher, administrator, and staff member beginning this journey.

🙏 For our students: Give them courage when they are nervous, wisdom as they learn, kindness toward others, and confidence to stand for what is right. Protect them each day and remind them that they are never alone because You are with them.

🙏 For our teachers and school staff: Give them patience, strength, wisdom, and compassion. When the days are long, encourage their hearts. Help them recognize the tremendous difference they make in the lives of the children entrusted to their care.

🙏 For our parents and families: Give them peace as they send their children into a new school year. Grant them wisdom as they guide, encourage, and support their children. Help their homes be filled with grace, patience, love, and prayer.

Lord, place Your hand of protection over our schools. May our classrooms be places of learning, kindness, respect, and encouragement. Help each of us look for opportunities to show the love of Jesus to those around us.

May this school year be filled with growth, new friendships, wonderful memories, and countless opportunities to see Your goodness.

Lord, go before them, walk beside them, and watch over them.
