GET READY! YOUR MIRACLE IS ON THE WAY
Sometimes the hardest part of faith isn’t believing that God can do something. It’s continuing to believe when we don’t know when He’s going to do it.
We can pray about something for so long that we almost become accustomed to not having it. We learn how to function without it. We learn how to smile while we’re waiting. We learn how to keep going even when nothing seems to be changing.
But what if the message for you today is simply this:
Get ready.
Not because you know exactly what God is going to do.
Not because somebody gave you a date.
Not because everything around you suddenly looks different.
Get ready because faith doesn’t just pray—it prepares.
There comes a point when we have to stop looking at what hasn’t happened and start making room for what we believe God can do.
Maybe you’ve been praying for a door to open.
Maybe you’ve been believing for restoration.
Maybe you’re waiting for peace in your family, direction for your future, financial breakthrough, healing in an area of your life, or simply the strength to begin again.
Whatever it is, don’t allow the length of the wait to convince you that God has forgotten you.
A delay is not always a denial.
Sometimes God is working in places we cannot see, arranging circumstances we know nothing about, preparing people we haven’t met yet, and developing something inside of us so that when the opportunity comes, we’re ready to walk into it.
God’s Word Reminds Us
Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us that even when the vision seems delayed, we are to wait for it because at the appointed time, it will come.
That means everything God has for us does not necessarily happen on our timetable.
And Isaiah 43:19 gives us another powerful reminder:
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”
I love that because God says, in essence, Pay attention. I’m doing something new.
We can become so focused on yesterday’s disappointment that we fail to recognize today’s movement.
And Jesus reminds us in Mark 11:24 that when we pray, faith matters. There is a difference between praying while expecting nothing and praying with a heart that says, “God, I don’t know how You’re going to do it, but I trust You.”
Moore to Reflect On
Here’s something worth thinking about:
If the thing you’ve been praying for showed up tomorrow, would you be ready for it?
If the opportunity came, are you prepared?
If the door opened, would you walk through it confidently?
If God sent the right people into your life, would you recognize them?
If the resources became available, do you already know what you would do with them?
Sometimes we keep asking God to send it, while God may be telling us to prepare for it.
Noah built before the rain came.
David developed his courage before he faced Goliath.
Joseph developed leadership skills before he ever stepped into Pharaoh’s palace.
Their preparation happened before the moment everybody else eventually saw.
So while you’re waiting, keep building.
Keep learning.
Keep improving.
Keep praying.
Keep forgiving.
Keep getting your mind right.
Keep putting things in order.
And most importantly, keep your relationship with God stronger than your desire for the miracle.
Because the greatest blessing isn’t simply getting what we prayed for—it’s becoming who God needs us to be when it arrives.
Take This With You
Don’t let what you see today determine what you believe about tomorrow.
There are moments when life can change much faster than we imagined. One conversation can introduce an opportunity. One connection can open a door. One decision can change a direction. One answered prayer can make years of waiting suddenly make sense.
So don’t give up because it hasn’t happened yet.
That little word “yet” leaves room for God.
You may not see it yet.
You may not understand it yet.
You may not have the answer yet.
But God is still God.
Keep your faith alive. Keep your expectations healthy. Keep doing your part.
And get ready.
Your next chapter may be closer than it looks.
Your breakthrough may come differently than you imagined.
And the miracle you’ve been praying for may already be moving in your direction.
A Question for Your Heart
What would you start doing differently today if you truly believed that what you’ve been praying for was already on its way?
Think about that.
Then don’t just wait for your miracle.
Prepare for it. Believe for it. Make room for it. And trust God with the timing.
Get ready—your miracle is on the way.
Closing Encouragement
As you move into this week, walk with expectation. You may not know when, where, or how God is going to move, but you can trust that His hands are still on your life.
And while you’re waiting for the miracle, remember this:
You are safe in His arms.
Safe when you understand the journey—and safe when you don’t.
Safe when the answer comes quickly—and safe while you’re still waiting.
Safe when the doors are opening—and safe when God is telling you, “Not yet.”
So keep believing. Keep preparing. Keep expecting. And keep trusting the One Who already knows what’s ahead.
Get ready. Your miracle is on the way. And until it arrives, rest in knowing that you are still covered, still kept, still loved, and always safe in His arms.
Be encouraged. Keep the faith. And expect God to do something amazing.
