We are thrilled to announce Bridget Jones as Unleashing Potential's Interim President and CEO!

Following the retirement announcement of long-time President and CEO Darlene Sowell, who stepped down on May 29, 2026, the Board of Directors has selected Bridget Jones to lead the agency through its next chapter.

"We are incredibly fortunate to welcome Bridget Jones as our Interim President and CEO during this pivotal time of transition," said Michael Green, Board of Directors Chair. "The search committee was impressed by Bridget’s executive experience in the St. Louis non-profit community and expertise in youth programming and workforce development as well as major fund development and capital campaign achievements. Bridget possesses the unique combination of strategic vision and compassionate community-minded leadership required to advance Unleashing Potential’s mission."

🎉 Missouri Mid-South Conference, today officially marks the beginning of our new Interim Intentional Conference Minister, Rev. Phil Hodson's ministry with us!

To help welcome Phil, we will host a simple come-and-go Meet & Greet this Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Conference Office. There is no formal agenda. If you are clergy, a church leader, or a member of one of our congregations and will be in the area, we invite you to stop by, enjoy a cup of coffee, introduce yourself, and spend a few minutes getting acquainted.

"Friends, I am grateful to be here. I am grateful for the ministry that has already happened, for the ministry that is happening now, and for the ministry that we will share in the days ahead."
