Today, clergy from throughout the Conference have gathered at Camp Moval for a two-day retreat as a pause in their lives for rest and reflection.
Please join us in praying that their time together is Spirit-filled and they leave tomorrow feeling recharged and encouraged for the ministry ahead.

Earlier this week, St. Peter's United Church of Christ answered the call to be the Church by standing alongside a hurting and grief-stricken family, offering presence, compassion, and support during an unimaginable time.

As Shakeela's family and friends prepare to celebrate her life this weekend, St. Peter's will continue to walk with them in love and prayer.

We give thanks for congregations that embody Christ's call to show up for their communities, not with easy answers, but with faithful presence.

Please join us in praying for Shakeela's loved ones, the St. Peter's congregation, and all those impacted by this tragedy.

A St. Louis community is rallying around the five young children of Shakeela Martin, a 35-year-old mother who was killed by a stray bullet. Neighbors and loved ones are collecting clothing and other essentials to support Martin’s children.
