Colossians-3:23-24
Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and the Master you are serving is Christ.
Today's Morning Manna
Is a reminder from the Apostle Paul to work hard at pleasing God everyday of life. Being enthusiastic in beginning each day giving it your all knowing that you're working for the Lord rather human masters. Sometimes we can get caught up with daily routines and miss the opportunity to finding the meaning of life. We are created to worship, praise and bring glory to Yahweh our God. Sometimes we can become lost in our daily routines by not focusing on our creator, instead we let our routines become meaningless and then life becomes boring and we seek for entertainment of people, places, and things. However this is where we lose the value in life and we come to a place that King Solomon mentions in Ecclesiastes:1:1 “Meaningless! Meaningless! ... Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless!” Hey sisters and brothers being busy doesn't bring meaning to life, but spending the day in our daily routines with a focus on God is a well spent day.
When we worship, pray, and praise while doing everyday stuff we call routine, intimacy with God deepens, faith grows, and our love for God increases. The Apostle reminders us of what God says that whatever we do, when we work at it with all our heart, as working for Him, we will receive a reward, he further reminds us that we are serving the Lord Christ with our life.
Footnote: I read this statement When our perspective shifts, our soul refills. Routine days are never meaningless when we go about all we do with the Lord at the center of it all. And that kind of meaningful life requires attention. It requires that we think upon all things Philippians 4:8 "God Bless"
